Amazing that people blaming Colin for this. How do you all know that Toseland is pushing because of CE, where is your proof?

2 off's in testing and a poor season last year, maybe Toseland is pushing himself to try and keep up with the best riders in the world. Really with the Yamaha being the best bike in the field, and the other riders performing much better. Maybe Toseland is out of his league and this is why he is pushing himself, beyond his limits.

Many of the fans on here took joy in calling a certain rider "crasher" Maybe the mantle has been taken by Toseland.

The FIAT Yamaha is the best on the grid without a doubt, with both of it's riders 1 and 2 in the championship. How valid is his point really? How would the 2nd tier Yamaha team be given the same goodies as the full factory team. The factory would not allow it's 2nd tier team have anything over it's fair haired golden boys. It's the same deal with Honda and Ducati, factory team get all the goodies and 2nd, 3rd tier get the left overs. Seems as if JB has been smoking to many Kangaroo Paws.

"Do you seriously, SERIOUSLY believe all of that is down to some corporate suit at Dorna pulling strings for him? Get real" Oh but I am being real. DORNA has been about money 1st, racing 2nd for many years. This is why they have produced the GOAT as to keep the flock interested. You only need to look at the changes that have been made to the sport since Hayden and Stoner won the world championship. DORNA cant afford to let someone outside of Italy or Spain win the WC, because it will mean the flock will wander off to another paddock, F1, WRC, WSBK, where ever it GOAT Migrates and DORNA losses more than the US economy. Where the GOAT wanders, the flock will follow. GOAT equals $$$$$$

Only the Ducati should be sold to the public as it is the only bike that the rider hops on and the bike does the rest. The amount of mediocre riders who hop on the Ducati and turn it into a top 5 bike proves this each weekend. Racing is boring with these kind of bikes. 4 Ducati's in the top 6 each race meeting prove this to be fact. The Yamaha, Honda, and Suzuki are to much for anyone but the very best to ride, so they would not be safe in the hands of the public. Rossi fans will disagree :p

Marty it would have to be a stacked deck for the DORNA GOAT to win at Poker and Ezpeleta dealing the cards. Still GP has been a stacked deck for years. I would have been nice for Max, Sete and co to be dealt the same cards as the Alpaca.

DORNA will allow this to happen. It will mean records crowds for Mugello and extra on the MotoGP coffers. Fanboi's will be at home watching, if the parents allow it with a remote in one hand and tweezers in the other. It's amazing how DORNA have manipulated the series over the past 8 to 9 years . VR equals the DORNA GOAT Hailwood, Ago, then Doohan - The DORNA GOAT does not even rate. don't forget the pepper lads :p

Onya Nigel Nice to see you bashing other posters and getting off topic. You have "The Moans" disease of verbal diarrhea. My guess is while the majority of Rossi fans remain ignorant, so will the Stoner fans. Stoner beats Rossi by a margin we hear "boring", "racing is ruined", "it's electronics" Rossi wins by a margin we hear "Bravo Vale", "your the GOAT", "Race of the season" Amazing how some of these Rossi fans can be so blinkered and the views can change at the drop of a hat. There is no difference when both riders have won by a decent magin, yet one rider is boring. The other is superman. Nigel go and have a fl0g over Smith, just keep an ear out for footsteps.

Amazing, this week we have clown antics, yet the week before we had a sore loser who refused to acknowledge the supreme efforts of his team mate. I am also amazed at the amount of people on this forum who are saying what a wonderful race it was. 2.7 second victory over Pedrosa and it was the race of the season. If the Result had of being Stoner 2.7 seconds to 2nd place, we would have been listening to how GP is rubbish and how we need to remove elecronics and other rider aids. Seems to me the wheelie control on the Yamaha worked better than eveyone else and pushed Rossi into a better than normal start. Seems to me and several other no fanboi's is Rossi has another advantage. :rolleye

Ted You gets the feeling this is going to be the biggest challenge yet for Rossi? Stoner is a quiet person, not know for being outgoing. Lorenzo on the other hand is a known hothead and when push comes to shove, WILL PUSH. You get the feeling that Lorenzo is going to not only take it to Rossi on the track, but also post race and will really play up. This got to Rossi at Japan and I expect to see much more of it. Boy this is going to be good to watch.

stpoil2lve You make some very valid points and your right there are alot of "what if's" Still the bikes back in the early to mid 90's were closer. You could also throw Beatie into the mix as well, how close did he get to winning a world championship, but for injury. Still these are only my opinions. For Doohan to come back from 92 to win 5 world championships makes him the best I have ever seen. Who knows about Wayne Rainey and what else he could have done. Then again Mike Hailwood from all reports is the true GOAT, but I was to young to see him race.
