Janet, Please explain why they call motogp the development class and World superbike production racing. GP has alway been at the forefront of technology and racing and since the "Golden Boy" started to get beaten the attutude has changed. Remove these aids and other advancements and Motogp is not longer the development series. Do you wish for EFI, Slipper clutches, carbon brakes to be removed from these machines as well? I can see why World Superbikes is becoming the premier sport and we can thank the moaning from Rossi and his groupie fans, who have NFI on what GP and what it was about. stpoil2lve how the hell could Doohan have won a world championship on a Kawasaki? I said Doohan could have won on the Yamaha or Suzuki. Yes Rossi did make a move to Yamaha and I agree that was a great effort. As I said Doohan could have done the same thing but without the core engineering group. The Yamaha was still a winning bike when Rossi moved across. Because it was a winning bike my view the challenge was not the mountain and many on here make it out to be. Just like it would not have been a huge mountain for Doohan to win on the Yamaha ot Suzuki back in the 90's. Both were winning machines. 92, an unlucky year for Doohan. His efforts to return from that make him the best.

Hey Dingo I hear some crying at Ayres Rock, better wander over for a sqizz. As for the other 2 world titles without JB, Max, Loris, Pedrosa, Poggiali all won lower class world championships and never did a thing in the premier class. Maybe they could have won the premier class with the help of JB and the other little bag of tricks that one VR gained over the other riders.

I said it before and I will say it again. If Rossi is such a great rider, lets see him win the world championship on the Suzuki or Kawasaki without JB and the core engineering group. Then maybe he would be worthy of the GOAT title. I have no doubt that Doohan along with a few others could have done the same thing as Rossi, say Doohan with JB and co in a move to Suzuki. Infact I think Doohan would have won a championship back in the early 90's on the Yamaha and Suzuki without JB and engineers. Rossi is on the best bike in the field. The past few years of moaning about tires and electronics have destroyed the development class. It was all roses when he was winning, but once someone came along and had a better package, the media superstar gets on his high horse. The unfair advantage won Rossi all of his premier class wins and DORNA have changed the results to suit him. This las is not even in the same class at Doohan, Rainey, Roberts, Sheene, etc. If Rossi is such a god, then he should move over to kawasaki without JB and the engineers and go and win a championship. That would make him the non DORNA GOAT. Nada chance of that happening. What a JOKE is GP have been for 10 odd years.

I would love to see Jorge do a Elias on Rossi. The the Rossi faithful will moan up a storm. Rossi was not a happy man after Japan. I can see him pulling dirty tricks to gain the upper hand, just like at Laguna Seca last year. This time I would like to see Rossi coming off second best and listen to the double standards from both Rossi and his fans.
