Amazing that people blaming Colin for this. How do you all know that Toseland is pushing because of CE, where is your proof?

2 off's in testing and a poor season last year, maybe Toseland is pushing himself to try and keep up with the best riders in the world. Really with the Yamaha being the best bike in the field, and the other riders performing much better. Maybe Toseland is out of his league and this is why he is pushing himself, beyond his limits.

Many of the fans on here took joy in calling a certain rider "crasher" Maybe the mantle has been taken by Toseland.

Bravo Stoner, Bravo. I think there will be some bitter pills to swallow tonight and many anti Stoner/ducati comments. 3 positions within the top 4 for Yamaha is an excellent efforts and goes to show the Yamaha is the most advanced bike in the field, without a doubt. Outstanding effort from Stoner/Ducati for stoping a Yamaha clean sweep. It is a pity that the other Ducati riders are not taking the fight to the superior Yamaha and it's 3 excellent riders. Anyone know what happened to "Crash Bandicoot" and his issues with the race, was it langauge issues or the Wall?

What is the issue with the Yamaha? 2nd, 3rd, 4th then Crash Bandicoot at the tail. This tells me the Yamaha is the superior bike and have a major advanatage. I guess Vale will never be known as "nostradamus"

Bravo Stoner, excellent effort when it has been proven yet again the Yamaha is the superior bike with positions 2, 3, and 4. I am not sure when James "Crash Bandicoot" Toseland finished. What I think makes me happy is the unhappy Rossi fans who will call Stoner childish names and moan about racing being boring, electronics, carbon fibre swing arms, and the Bridgestone advantage. Bravo Stoner, Bravo.................

Darkwaknight and here I thought Ostriches only lived in Africa. Once more 1st world championship was won due to ploding along, waiting to Laconi to crash out., his defence of the title was joke to say the least, on the best bike in the field as you have mentioned and I guess it shows the true form of James Tossland. His so called hard riding style in my mind come down to blocking other riders has we can see from the 08 season. I am sure the Rossi fans will remember his efforts. I can recall his efforts in blocking back to his poor Superbike defence. Buddy I would pray to a return to Superbikes, minus Ben Spies and maybe then you might gain another world championship.

Hi Bob, I think it is only to Toseland fans who are suggesting the psych out and the Edwards influence. I would have thought that Toseland would have been more professional than that. I think the majority other fans, besides the brits agree that Tossland is out of his league and slowly drowning. Maybe Toseland would be better off with his Airoh mate Ant West on a 600. Airoh, not in the same class as a Suomy but I guess a Walmart helmet for a Walmart head.

Jacko I think you will find that "The Stalker" has never been given the oportunities that JT has been given over the years. His efforts at Assen in 06, will forever remain in my mind of pure guts and courage. Something I think a few riders could learn about.

If the Ducati was that advanced, then what was the issue in 2005 with the Duacti and Toseland the 04 world champion? If the Ducati was that much superior, then why did Suzuki blew almost everyone away except for the Ten Kate Honda, who were runners up in only it's second season in World Superbike? Ten Kate and CV did an amazing job to finish 2nd as did TC and Suzuki to flog the so called most advanced bike with the current world champion on board. It seems to be 05 was the season where Suzuki and Honda were on the climb and this followed onto Toselands 2nd world championship maybe the Ducati was on the decline, until TB came back to the team. looks like JT bore the fruits of CV hard work.

I think we also need to look at Toseland's first championship in superbike. It was when he was on the best bike in the field and without Edwards and Bayliss. In fact Regis Laconi won more races that season and had just lost the championship due to the fact, that Laconi had several off's, where Toseland plodded along accumulating points and took the championship at the last round of the year. This was not exactly the form you would expect from the so called hard racer. 2 championships in superbike the 1st plodding along without Bayliss and Edwards. The 2nd on the best bike by a mile with the ducati's way beyond the end of it life and not competitive. Again the Lad is out of his league.

gsxrlee, please dont mention TC as this open a whole new list of excuses to go along with CE, the wall, engineers, and tires. Maybe people will bring moaner into this discussion and explain that Toseland is not a TC rider, even though Toseland did win his last Superbike championship with the aid of TC on the most advanced bike in the field. The facts are simple folks, Toseland it trying to keep up with the big boys on a non-factory bike. He is pushing beyond his limits and crashing, I guess a little like Stoner when he was on the LCR Honda that was at the bottom of the food chain in new parts. Remember the caining Stoner got, I wonder if these same "crasher" comments will be made towards JT?
