WRC » IRC: Panizzi signs with Proton

Panizzi had been accused of illegal recce by Delecour. It was well known that Gilles did this throughout his career. (A cheat some may call him, I saw it with my own eyes on French Championship round) Complete maniac, that did Peugeot's reputation no good in WRC. Remember the time that he got overtaken by someone on Safari, then assaulted the driver of the car at the stage stop? Idiot. By the by, is it doing Proton any good developing the car when they keep swapping the drivers about?

WRC » IRC: Late drama hands Loix Czech win

Never really knew what to make of Loix in WRC, he spent a fair bit of time in Makkinen's shadow at Mitsubishi, also spending time at Hyundai with the Accent which to be fair was not the most competitive WRC car. But I remember seeing him firstly in the Opel's in Belgium, and then the Toyota Celica's and Corolla WRC cars and he was no slouch. By the by, 3 IRC starts and 3 IRC wins. Not to be sniffed at?

WRC » Loeb wins in Germany, remains unbeatable

I think that you always have to remember that the marshals are signed on etc. And once you let one person stand in a 50 50 place you could end up with lots of people and a situation happening. I am a keen marshal and spectator and can see both sides of the argument. And as the pub landlord says... Where would we be with no rules? France! Where would we be with too many rules? Germany!
