F1 » Rosberg escapes penalty, keeps pole

Of course there will always be some nutters who see conspiracies against their hero everywhere and will be conviced it was cheating regardless, but think about this: the stewards did investigate, they had access to all telemetry and they decided it was an honest mistake. And the team says the same thing. So how do you, without access to any data whatsoever, somehow know better that it was not? And about the yellows, of course they were there, the escape road was blocked and if someone else would overcook it in the same place it could be very dangerous. It's no different from having a yellow out if someone's stuck in a gravel trap outside a corner. It's just the way it works, nothing strange about that at all. And yeah, finally Lewis' Senna reference is just waaay over the top. Drama queen, much?

F1 » Hamilton: My hunger is different to Rosberg’s

As brilliantly quick a driver as he is, to be honest he just doesn't seem all that bright. Like someone pointed out, he has been trying a lot of mind games before and they have never ever been good. And he really doesn't need them either, he's got the speed to do his talking on the track. This kind of reminds me about how Ralf Schumacher went on about how Montoya had an advantage after 9/11, because since he was from such a violent country it didn't affect him as much as the others. Not very classy. And yeah, according to Wikipedia Hamilton's dad was an "IT Manager" so he's hardly a working class hero...

F1 » Horner: You can see why McLaren need Fallows…

Liking the other quote by Horner aswell... "When asked whether it hurts when people question Red Bull's ethics, Horner pointedly replied: -Not when it's from Ron Dennis." Somebody mentioned handbags? Seriously though, you can't back out of a binding contract just because you don't feel like it. However, no they can't well force him to go to work for them, but what McLaren COULD do is sue RBR and/or Fallows, and put him on forced gardening leave. If he's signed a valid contract with them he certainly can't just go and work for their competitors instead, inside secrets learned or not.

F1 » Ericsson losing half a second in weight

Exactly, even if they did increase the weight limit lighter drivers would still be at an advantage, due to the fact that you can distribute the ballast better. But not quite as big an advantage. I suspect the idea behind this though is that the cars eventually will reach the current limit with a bit of development. But personally, I could still live with a temporary increase. Hard to see who this is good for really, well apart from Felipe Massa. They are pretty much ALL forced to diet, because even if you already weigh 50 kiloes it would be better still of you weighed 40...
