F1 » Grosjean wishing it was ‘day before Haas debut’

HairyLuthier: Can anyone explain to me how Haas is going to be straight into the midfield? Gutierrez said in Mexico that they would be stronger than Sauber next year. I get that they are buying parts from Ferrari but surely they can't just buy all of Ferrari's aero data?
Gutierrez also says it's a stepping stone to Ferrari for him. The boy's head is filled with hot air, luckily for him that his pockets are filled with Carlos Slim's dollars!

F1 » Kvyat Red Bull seat not under threat – Horner

Kvyat has done more than enough to deserve a drive next year, starting to match Riccardo. Interesting that Autosport are reporting Renault staff are working at Enstone, they have recruited Bob Bell from Manor and Renault members are active on the Lotus board of directors. Would suggest that door is well and truly closed for RBR and supplyign RBR doesn't fit with the model of team ownership for Renault.

F1 » Wolff: You can’t expect manufacturers to be charitable

Taipan: If Merc don't fancy the idea of losing money by supplying other teams there is a very obvious way of balancing the books.... get rid of Lulu and Nico and replace them with a couple of GP2 drivers, that would save them 30 or 40m a year and the results would be just the same.
Even better pick up Maldonado and Gutierrez take both championships and end up with a profit.
Honestly that pair would run into each other at every race, would be amusing to watch but even in Merc's they probably hand it to Ferrari.

F1 » Susie Wolff retires from motorsport

mrfill: She'll probably end up doing TV punditry. After all, we need a dour Scot as we haven't quite got enough of them at the moment.
Lee Mckenzie isn't dour :) I've met DC, not at all dour. Paul DiResta didn't help the whole dour stereotype though :p
Dont forget McNish. Well, on second thoughts do forget him.... :)
He's not very good as an F1 pundit or analyst. Excellent driver though.
