F1 » Renault to end F1 engine supplier role

nealio: Ghosn's logic in relationship to Red Bull is right on but their current strategy of driving Lotus to the wall in search of a cheap deal reflects a mentality which goes a long way in explaining their current under performance in engine development.
Andy Ruhan the Lotus majority owner is a successful business man, may be he have options which we do not know about, if not something would probably have happened by now.
HMRC are taking them back to court next month, they are periously close to having a winding up enforced. The current owners don't want to put a penny in to the team until they find out if Renault will buy them. If it's a game of brinksmanship then it could go horribly wrong.
