WRC » Loeb: No plans to do more WRC events

slightlysideways: An excelllent comeback. Out of interest was Loeb on the same tyres as everyone else when he blitzed the field? Not sure if he'd be as competitive on fast rallies after being away for a while, I reckon finding the grip in changing conditions is where he had the edge on everyone else.
Meeke was right on his pace when they were running further down the order.

F1 » 'New era' as Lotus reveals E23 Mercedes F1 challenger

PinkLadyRacer:

PinkLadyRacer: That is Gorgeous but i am really confused at the team itself. Lotus running merc engines? erm *scratches head*
why the head scratching? lotus dont make f1 engines, so the have to use something. after all, they used Renault engines last few years.
It just seems odd that's all.
Well Caterham F1 didn't run engines from their road cars (although it seemed like it at times). it's just a cynical branding exercise. the Lotus F1 & car link is tenuous at best.

WRC » Wilson: M-Sport has huge potential

slightlysideways: Unfortunately I think this will be a bad year for m sport and the WRC in general. VW seem to have a fast reliable car with three drivers that only one, maybe 2 will run into trouble in an event with at least one driver going to win each rally. Ford have an ok car but the drivers are not quite at the level of Ogier and Latvala, and as for Citroen it's the same story. Tricky times for the WRC....
I'd agree and it's not by any means certain the Citroen will remain in WRC next year.
