At least Honda left what became Brawn in much better shape when they pulled out of the sport, BMW have form of doing the opposite.

Who's he kidding. BMW have a long and rich history of just leaving motorsport formulas and just using motorsport discipline as a marketing toy. No loss not having them in F1. The WRC Mini program is a good example of this, also if Peter Sauber hadn't stepped back in the team would have disappeared.

@Luke Kimi can push his tyres pretty hard when he needs to, the Merc clearly has a setup problem that burns the tyres and affects Hamilton especially.
