F1 » Caterham F1 confirms change of ownership

theoldgitspeaks: They must have more money than sense, Christian Albers failed as a driver so I don't really see what he has to offer as a team manager, in addition Kolles has been involved in several teams in the past and has failed to deliver any success. My best bet is that they will be gone by the end of the season when they realise just how much money they need to spend and how they are going to be continually screwed by the FIA and Bernie.
Horner drove in F3 didn't he? but wasn't that good, he's not bad as a team boss though. Like some others I can't imagine why Hass didn't buy the infrastructure. I guess he knows best or it's just pie in the sky.

F1 » Caterham F1 confirms change of ownership

bob jane: Thank god for the wealthy entrepreneurs of this world with a passion for motor sport, most of them know they are tearing up money But if it was not for them we would have6 or 8 cars on the grid.
That's a bit naive, if people stopped buying Red Bull overnight I'd be interested to see how long they remained in F1. This isn't a Lord Hesketh pouring his own money into it for the fun of it scenario.
