WRC » Kubica: 50-50 if I stay in WRC

Cobalt: richard, I think Kubica is too young to give up. If there are possibilities to improve his mobility (and not only for his career sake) then why not? Why nobody is telling Evans or Sordo to give up WRC? Kubica got more stage wins that them! He took different approach, more speed and more risk so he crashed more. And it is still not obvious that he can not drive an F1 car, he can, on 80% of tracks. I wish I was F1 driver manager... you work for a month every 3 years then pocket a chunk of their salary....
Your kidding about Evans right? Evans has made genuine progress and is a young driver, he'll only get better. Can't argue about Sordo though. Flav manages Alonso, he'll trouser a fair wedge on that deal.

F1 » F1: McLaren delays driver decision

Shabby treatment of both drivers....especially JB as it could be his last race in F1. Mind you, this is Eric Boullier who threw Nick Hiedfeld under the bus at Lotus and then told the world Kimi had been paid in full when he hadn't been paid a penny. Maybe been a bit harsh on Eric when Ron is really running the show.

F1 » F1: Maldonado eyes qualifying improvement

tommytrojan1: It always fascinates me that Maldonado appears to be quite knowledgeable and very articulate as to the workings of the car, the tyres, ambient track temperatures, weather fluctuation, and just about everything else that translates into making an F1 car go faster. However, all of that knowledge and experience seem to desert him the moment the lights go out and the race begins. I wonder if we'll still be seeing him after next year? I know he brings in the big bucks, but is that really enough for such a consistently underachieving driver? Romain hasn't fared much better, for sure, but at least he has been able to show flashes of his old self from time to time. Hard to believe Pastor has actually stood on the top step of a podium!
Without Pastor's oil bucks they wouldn't be here this year despite what they say. Only reason he's there.

F1 » Kate Walker: Breaking the omerta

Metalguru: I wonder how it will all end up? Probably fully corporatized, hopefully not fully sanitized. It may lead small teams towards lawsuits over alleged anti-trust practices. Enter the truth and fairness bureaucrats to set straight the sports bureaucrats. Whats this about uneven subsidies to larger competitors?? Strewth. Who ya gonna call? Eu Trust Busters kakaka
Good point, ask a pretty corrupt organisation to investigate a very corrupt business.
