F1 » Marussia F1 goes into administration

They signed up for Mad Max's 40 million cap, I guess once that cost cutting role was opposed they had one hand tied behind their back. He'll be in the press soon to remind everyone of that fact! Two have two teams in administration reflects badly on the sport. How far behind is Sauber?

F1 » Fernandes: Caterham F1 buyers to blame

107SS2009: Apart from the two Caterham cars most possibly ending their foray in F1 we should be prepared for a possible grid of 18 cars in Austin. And a note about what the F1 rules say is proper here. The rules say that “in the event the grid drops below 18 cars then the remainder of the entrants can be asked to supply a third car”.
They've changed their own rules overnight! "The FIA has ruled out asking Formula 1's top teams to run a third car this season, despite growing doubts about grid numbers at the end of the 2014 campaign"

F1 » Caterham F1 buyers’ ‘total contempt’ of Fernandes

MaddMe: If all the debts had been paid, then why have the administrators locked the doors?
Absolutely. Clearly they weren't paying bills, Pirelli weren't going to supply them tyres in Japan due to not been paid. Companies have been removing hardware due to non payment. Staff taking them to court. A bunch of chancers and asset strippers, the prize been the entry fee/license. It really stinks.
