F1 » Hamilton blames problem with revs for pivotal poor start

107SS2009:
richard: "i took my foot off the gas and it was still on..." ??? but it was ok, it was the cars fault that nico was able to pull away. but if i try to interpret what lulu was trying to say, doesnt it suggest that the car has some sort of launch control?
Richard, The rules are being abused and the FIA knows this, in fact there were talk of changes about this sort of start lunch help the drivers are getting. In short they are all using a system that more or less mimics lunch control.
I'd have thought 'lunch control' was something more for Eric Boullier and VJM....drivers might find launch control useful though.

F1 » Red Bull dismisses bid for Ferrari engines

I really don't see what good this is doing them as @Mart247 said unless it is a genuine statement of intent that they plan to leave. If it is then it's not a good thing for the sport, if it isn't then hanging Renault out to dry again isn't helping ether party remain focused. I guess the prospect of having both cars battling for a single point at the Red Bull ring is too painful to contemplate.
