F1 » What we learned at the Singapore Grand Prix

fourteenseven: formula 1 has monaco, they decided to build an artificial monaco in singapor, added enticements of penthouse infinity pools and what not for the well heeled, they appear to be trying to price 'normal fans' away from actually watching the sport
I was looking into doing a GP a little while back and it was going to work out about 4K at least with flights etc for myself and my girlfriend. For the spectacle it just seems like throwing money away and felt like you were getting ripped of to line Bernie's pockets for a weekend away. We went to Nice for 10 days instead and stayed in a very nice hotel. No contest.

F1 » Hamilton: Rosberg retirement bittersweet

Googolplex: It may have been a phenomenal drive from Lewis, but given the Mercs superiority it is very hard to know how good it was in comparison to the next three across the line.
it was okay, his drives from the back of teh field stand out more. Vettel, Alonso, Rosberg, Kimi and a few others would have delivered the same result in a car that dominent without a team mate in equal machinery to keep them honest,

F1 » Hamilton: Rosberg retirement bittersweet

@ProfessorX Not upset at all. When lulu was at McLaren one of his most deluded fanboys said Whitmarsh was sabotaging his car (that was you btw), same theories started when lulu joined Mercedes and have got more idiotic this year. My point was simply they've both had DNF's and mechanical issues in the race so hopefully the less bright lulu fanboys might be quite now....fat chance I know.

F1 » F1 could see three-car teams in 2015

LargeStyle: So, many parts of the world are in financial crysis, and in F1 they need / want to keep costs of running a competitive team package reasonable, yet the cars right now are the most complicated they've ever been and they're thinking of adding another car per team - I just can't believe the ignorance present here. No disrespect, but Bernie should've gracefully bowed out of F1 after his bribery case, and now I read these kind of statements (along with a publicly mass f**k-up of driver radio management) his retirement is well overdue.
I don't think you can exclude the FIA from blame for the ridiculously expensive & complex (lets not mention the sound) power trains, they bent over for certain manufacturers.
