F1 » Hamilton blames problem with revs for pivotal poor start

richard: "i took my foot off the gas and it was still on..." ??? but it was ok, it was the cars fault that nico was able to pull away. but if i try to interpret what lulu was trying to say, doesnt it suggest that the car has some sort of launch control?
Richard, The rules are being abused and the FIA knows this, in fact there were talk of changes about this sort of start lunch help the drivers are getting. In short they are all using a system that more or less mimics lunch control.
I'd have thought 'lunch control' was something more for Eric Boullier and VJM....drivers might find launch control useful though.

F1 » Red Bull dismisses bid for Ferrari engines

I really don't see what good this is doing them as @Mart247 said unless it is a genuine statement of intent that they plan to leave. If it is then it's not a good thing for the sport, if it isn't then hanging Renault out to dry again isn't helping ether party remain focused. I guess the prospect of having both cars battling for a single point at the Red Bull ring is too painful to contemplate.

F1 » Force India proud of Hulkenberg's Le Mans win

@Sunny I'd say the gloom is based on a boring predictable season, with boring cars and rules that don't produce decent racing. The lack of competition within Merc just magnifies these issues. It's up to yourself which parts you wish to take with a pinch of salt. I'm talking about it from a fans perspective and not the cr4p been fed to teh media by certain teams @richard I'd say mixture of discussion and technical info is fine, there's some really funny posters which make me laugh here, I try and not take things as seriously as you and sunny seem to but that's my point, something for everyone...apart from fanboys. I don't think they add anything.

F1 » Force India proud of Hulkenberg's Le Mans win

"Some people that pretends/believe to be following F1 all they can talk about is what the media feeds their minds, like parrots, like most " Lucky your here to keep us all right sunny! :) I think most people will take what's written with a pinch of salt at times like 99% of Merc press releases, anything Eric Boullier says, pretty much all things Christian Horner says etc etc). I was under the impression this was a general F1 discussion forum and not a technical forum...
