F1 » Alonso insists he is ‘not regretting’ McLaren move

ZEDX: Nah.. he was counting on going to Mercedes.. he must have had people whispering in his ear that Hammy was going to jump to Ferrari (given the issues with Rosberg) but it didn't happen & Mcl was his 2nd choice (only choice?) .. he'd left no wriggle-room at Ferrari for himself and Vettel got in quick! Still, hard to believe that two top experienced drivers can't "sort out" the car after 6 months or so... even Manor have got reliability (and credibility) with their "scratch" car & team!.... must be a major problem somewhere in McLaren.. I reckon he has had enough & will walk sooner than later.
The chassis is fine (which the drivers can help sort), the engine is a donkey and the driver can't do anything about that except suggest where they could improve driveability.

F1 » Wolff gratified with perfect Canada response

Erm.... "After Monaco it was difficult to handle it sometimes and we were exposed to massive criticism. It looked like all the victories and the world championships were forgotten and suddenly a bunch of idiots were managing the team. Probably that is the case when you have a good car and goof drivers, and then we had some ups and downs in the team" Goof drivers... Is that a typo or was that his actual words? :)

F1 » Renault F1 future to hinge on Mercedes leniency?

FatAlfie: Ferrari managed to catch up, so the rules are working just fine. And richard, the word 'sow' means to plant seeds - I would have thought that was obvious from the sentence mart993 typed, Clearly not, to you.
They haven't though, they have closed up a bit but if Merc choose to run flat out I can't see Ferrari beating them unless there is a combination of circuit and temp to suit the Ferrari.
