F1 » Raikkonen hints at extended F1 stay with Ferrari

107SS2009: FERRARI failing 3rd place in the WCC (blame) rests at the door of Kimi Raikkonen, unless Kimi improves next year will suely be his final year in the F1.
The blame lies at Ferrari's door for providing him with an unreliable car for most of the season. He's had about 2 GP's without some kind of mechanical failure. It's Ferrari's failure to provide a decent engine. To single out Raikkonen is frankly laughable.

F1 » F1: Montezemolo gives reasons for Alonso departure

WBS: An elephant never forgets. Ron Dennis never forgets.
Well he's stuck Alonso in the McLaren hall of fame so he's clearly swallowed his pride to some extent. Alonso would probably be managed directly by Boullier acting as a wirewall between Alonso and Ron and Eric is quite the politician. Also it appears Honda will have a big say rather than Ron in who's driving.

F1 » Raikkonen hints at extended F1 stay with Ferrari

107SS2009: For the likes of FERRARI the WCC is as important as the WDC, for some the WCC is more important. The WCC cannot be had with one car (by focusing on only one car). From the start of the season FERRARI know that both championships were out of reach, the objective after that must surely have been that of finishing as high as possible in the standing, which again is something not possible by focusing on only one car.
It's been pretty clear there's been very little focus at Ferrari of late, we have to hope the car salesman can turn their fortunes around.....
