F1 » Massa insists win was possible

Taipan: There is a lot of negativity towards Felipe from certain quarters isn't there? I can't help think it has something to do with someone consistently driving into him in 2011.
Was just thinking the same thing. Poor Massa, getting clonked on the head with a car spring and almost losing your eye doesn't get you any sympathy if lulu's race has been ruined by driving into you.....again.

F1 » Massa insists win was possible

rob01: Vettel was on worn tires and down on top end speed. Had Massa gotten to Vettel it would have been an easy pass. There was a three second difference between the two cars.
There was only a three sec difference as the Red Bull was stuck behind Perez, once Dan got past he cleared of pretty sharpish and caught Rosberg. Vettel wasn't 3 secs slower than Massa on outright pace.

F1 » Renault inspired by Ricciardo breakthrough

107SS2009: Rob, I am afraid you are misinterpreting what was meant by “we are working on it”, what was meant was they were trying to understand the problem (working on it). You know as well as I that such things are not permitted and not possible because telemetry is one way (car to pit). But while it was not permitted but telemetry was still 2 way maclaren were the only team in the history of F1 that were caught red handed fixing a car problem during a race from the pits. They still use that system on their road cars, one owner phoned them up about a problem and they told him, pull-up hand brake, switch off and we will fix it for you from out here.
Did McLaren not use two way telemetry to switch oil pumps on DC's McLaren at Monaco once? I was sitting beside him on a flight 3-4 weeks ago, I should have ask him :)
