WRC » ITV and BT Sport agree WRC broadcast deal

DafyddLarcombe: it makes me laugh that some Plonker can disagree with my heads up on when the Rally Monte Carlo footage is aired on tv, but whatever, check it for yourself on your Sky box if you disagree, but there is footage at the end of each leg on Motors TV aired at around 10.30pm each night, I was just trying to help (for the Plonker who dissagreed)
You don't get points for been helpful here :) It was probably our local forum loon RGB. Cheers for the heads up.

WRC » ITV and BT Sport agree WRC broadcast deal

ALangheck: So no change from last year. What is needed for the sport to grow is newspaper coverage. Sadly, O doubt there will be much coverage of the Monte this weekend. The start of the F1 launch season is upon us, that is viewed as more newsworthy.
Oh, just re-read it and highlights only on ITV4. I take it back. The FIA have no interest in pushing rallying especially in the UK.

F1 » F1: Palmer confirmed as Lotus third driver

theeagle: @Taz Its a bit of a false statement to say the Lotus is not a competitive car. Robert Kubica proved it can win races (if not the World Championship) before his dreadful rally crash. Jonathan Palmer is a shrewd operator and knows his son Jolyon doesnt have what it takes to let him blow $14m (or whatever it costs) to buy a seat.
Where exactly did I say the Lotus was a bad car? The 2014 car was a dog but that was partly the engine. If you look at the 14 million figure that's what Maxie's daddy was rumoured to be paying for little Maxie's drive. I thought you'd join the dots but apparently not.
