F1 » Todt vows to bring engine costs down

So far he's only succeeded into stopping Vettel change his helmet design at every race since coming to office. Don't see him doing anything and the performance difference between engines units is a bigger worry than the costs. He comes out once in a while with a few press statement then goes back to jetting about on his jollies. He is a chocolate fireguard.

F1 » Todt: F1 has a headache, not a cancer

Todt doesn't care as long as his privates jets, blazers and jollys continue long into the future. F1 has gone backwards on his watch although his main crime is doing little or nothing apart from not allowing drivers to change their helmets during a season, he's in Merc's pocket. The main blames lies with Bernie and his 5 way agreement which give the teams (well one anyway) far too much power.

F1 » McLaren noses towards development and reliability

107SS2009: Some time ago when still swivelling with Dennis I too meet Lauda's Lulu on his visit to this part of the world with some local lads, and one of my friends told him that out here we fondly refer to him a Lulu, he just smiled turned and walked away, no questions no answers.
Cool story. Expressions seem to mean a lot in motorsport as you can't always speak your mind.

F1 » McLaren noses towards development and reliability

Taz: Meanwhile on Autosport Boullier is saying if the don't make progress soon it'll seriously impact on next season. A coded message to Honda to get their act together....which the current regulations won't allow.[\blockquote Why does the current regulations which permits in season upgrades won’t permit progress?. Why, how and since when is it that getting once act together is not allowed by the regulations or depending on the regulations when by the eight race of the season the regulations allowed virtually a “B” car to be developed and at least a one complete new engine version to be introduced?. Why all this negativity about the sports we follow?.
Are you on Toto's payroll sunny?

@Sunny I do jest, calm down :p if you think F1 2015 is in a good state though, I'm afraid I'll have to disagree. On a different note I'm going to see Lauda: The Untold Story next week and the man himself is joining the venue apparently via satellite link-up for a live Q&A session after the screening. I promise I won't ask him why he favours lulu.... :)
