BTCC » Team BMR secures engine builders Mountune

Jason Plato:
richard: whenever i see an unusual model name, i try to work out how it was thought up. first thing i do is reverse the letters. so the subaru , to me , will always be a GROVEL.
Haha, very good :) No grovelling needed for extra boost levels though, they have Plato in the team and he'll whinge very loudly when required.
Seriously Taz, you need to go and seek some help. You got something very unhealthy going on with me. People eh?!!

F1 » McLaren-Honda rubbishes power hike stories

Taz: Well 160+bhp gained seemed a bit optimistic.
well, it is misquoted, or misunderstood. the 160 was the amount provided by the ers, which most of the time didnt work. so if they have managed to get it to work, then theoretically they have "found " 160 bhp. but it is wrong to take this into the overall gain as it was operational periodically.
Well if they do find a power hike and are more competitive then it's a good thing.

F1 » Azerbaijan GP organisers deny F1 race under threat

JACKBEE: I don't think I'll be going, try Googling hotel prices...eyewatering!! Mrs BEE wanted to go there after seeing the Eurovision (yes I know!!) so we looked up flights and hotels. Just ordinary weekend, no special event like a GP. Far cheaper to go to Monaco.
Is a GP even worth going to at the moment? My girlfriend and I are going to the Monaco 'Classic' GP this year. Thought we'd see some proper F1 cars with proper engine noise and Nice is a nice place to spend time.
