mrfill: /contd F1 is primarily a manufacturers series now for big name car makers and if you ain't in that club, you stand little chance. Red Bull are the exceptions but then their motives are different and their funding is guaranteed.
I agree but they'd signed up to the 40 million concept and then the rules changed. They'd hired people and committed money. It's very very hard to pull out when you've committed to starting a team/business. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

They signed up for Mad Max's 40 million cap, I guess once that cost cutting role was opposed they had one hand tied behind their back. He'll be in the press soon to remind everyone of that fact! Two have two teams in administration reflects badly on the sport. How far behind is Sauber?
