F1 » FIA to ‘set example’ with independent audit

"Mr Todt, here's the audit" Mr Todt's private jet hire fees $20,000,000 Mr Todt's Blazer dry cleaning bill $1,000,000 Mr Todt's Restaurant bill $4,000,000 "Erm, can we put that under miscellaneous expenses" "Sure Sir" An audit is only truly revealing when it's not self appointed, otherwise it is a PR exercise...a bit like a government enquiry. The FIA doesn't have to worry, Football and world athletics will keep papers in headlines for years to come.

F1 » Pirelli expects teams to split tyre strategies in 2016

Interesting that the contract for 2017/18 hasn't been signed yet. Pirelli have put up yet another roadblock for faster laptimes (those pesky exploding tyres). How they got awarded the contract was beyond me, i know they are doing what Bernie asked them to but the way they got Bernie to gag the drivers when they started complaining over safety and other matters reflected badly on the company.
