WRC » Kubica: As a small team impossible to beat factories

Cobalt: So many problems with the car and tyres this year. Still to be expected that the first year with his own team would be tough. The team kept changing as well. Next year? RK can't afford full WRC season anyway so he met as well try DTM. There is a clash of four dates, I think. And back to Michelins? Would Citroen be better than Ford (which seems to be very delicate). I hope RK will do some WRC next year, he is nearly there... and no he is not rolling or crashing any more.
DTM would be a better use of his talents imo.

WRC » Kubica: As a small team impossible to beat factories

Taz: That's always been the case. A privateer outfit probably hasn't won in WRC since Ari Vatanen and David Sutton and even then it was semi-works. Petter Solberg's efforts in his Xzara was probably the best effort of recent times from a privateer outfit. Kubica has binned it far too often.
Kronos in 2006. Citroen pulled the plug for a year to concentrate on the C4, so Loeb was in a Kronos run Xsara. But then, as you say, semi works. Expect an announcement in a couple of weeks that Citroen pull out of WRC end of next year. PSA have told Peugeot and Citroen to concentrate on one form of Motorsport only. My money is on Citroen staying in WTCC as they are winning. Hopefully Peugeot will take over the rallying reigns.
That's an interesting comment. I was wondering what their intentions are as they've hardly developed the car this year. WTCC is boring but the exposure they get from rallying is poor. Red Bull have done a crap jo
