F1 » London Grand Prix idea raised – again

107SS2009: Mr CRASHNET moderator on duty, please take note. Since last bout of influenza that hit CRASHNET Monday 25th “remote server returned an error” your site is still on partial fix, the on screen advert at lower side of screen, and page posts numbers not shown or does not telly with number of posts has not been fixed. Please pass on to your technical team. And Rob/Richard, I had my son check/double check for me, yes I have ad block and it is “on”.
Technical team? I think your been a bit optimistic there. The site has a serious caching/database issue. The database seems to timeout regularly and because they make their stack traces public it's easy to see that it's a database issue.

F1 » Maldonado confirms F1 exit

107SS2009:
MrJones85: Maybe, this is for the best. The Maldonado haters will have to find somebody else to kick around!
They will have no shortage of candidates, in fact two fresh ones popped-up so as they can keep spouting their hate, Nikita Mazepin and Rio Haryanto.
Pot and kettle sunny!

F1 » Maldonado confirms F1 exit

RoyO: "I confirm my feelings of gratitude to God, my family, my sponsors, my friends, my fans and all who have helped realise this great dream of being able to represent Venezuela at the pinnacle of motorsport." I was going to comment on this fulsome statement but I simply don't know where to start.
Was thinking the very same thing.

F1 » Halo safety cockpit 'best compromise', says Davidson

richard: i agree. surtees was hit by an errant wheel and the halo would not have definitely saved him. wilsons was a totally different accident. bianchi wasnt hit in the head, it was decelleraton, and maria would not have been protected by the front strut. so in reality, the halo would have little benefit, but could hinder vision in a close battle.
I saw Bianchi's accident, not intentionally, someone on a social media site I won't mention posted a video of crazy funny F1 crashes, what it was instead was camera footage from the crowd. He was hit in the head and that accident wouldn't have been survivable with the proposed safety system. When I realised what I saw it sickened me.

F1 » London Grand Prix idea raised – again

107SS2009: Taz, I am not qualified to talk technical computer matters, but I ask, whatever the problem is (technically) with this site, how can a site like CRASHNET seems unable to fix their site problem? One does not encounter such problems with any of the other F1 sites.
Good question, not much has changed round here for a long time now which is a shame as they have a lot of good posters.
