F1 » What we learned at the Russian Grand Prix

Marybeth: Folks, Just as a technical point, out of curiosity, technically could Marussia have run Chilton in the Jules' car after Max's went out due to vibrations on lap 17 in Sochi...? Jules car was scrutineered & set to go but they did not run it out of respect. But are there any regulations that would have prohibited Max from racing the other car...? Thanks. :)
Others will know better but as far as I know there is no T car anymore so you have to run with the car allocated to you over the race weekend. If the chassis is wrecked and unless the have spare parts that's the end of your weekend. Marussia did the right thing.
