F1 » Button punished for Maldonado collision

ProfessorDave:
Strider: Uncharacteristic mistake by Button, not often that Maldonado is the victim in a collision either. Great to see they were both so pragmatic about it.
Pity it was so clear cut and Button had no option but to accept responsibility .... it would have been another great opportunity for most of you guys - and the commentators - to pin 100% of the blame on Maldonado yet again!
Don't see anyone here pinning blame on Maldonado so why bring it up?

F1 » Wolff: Lewis didn’t slow on purpose

Cris Zarate:
If things don't improve at McLaren soon Alonso might also need some watching.....
Are you a Hamilton die hard fan or just hate Alonso so much... cause I dont see why Alonso should be dragged on this subject.. And Btw Mclaren is showing good progress if not giant leap, both cars finished and their corner speed is good but its clear they are still having problems on low revs, its noticable by hearing the car accelearate and in comparisson, Mclaren had much better weekend than Redbull or Torro Rosso...
Don't post sensible analysis here Cris, it's frowned on :)

F1 » Rosberg blasts Hamilton for ‘compromising race’

Wow. Didn't mince his words. That pair hate each other, the relationship has completely broken down not that was any doubt. I expected Rosberg to get into Hamilton's head but ironically the reverse has happened. Rosberg has to up his game and take the fight to lulu or jog round in 2nd picking up his cash, it's his choice. Great to see Kimi driving well again, Seb as impressive as ever and the hype about Verstappen seems to be justified. Grosjean was good too. Boring race though apart from a little mid pack action and Kimi's moves on the opening lap. Pastor provided the comedy.......again :)

F1 » 'Full house' Hamilton strolls to Chinese GP win

JACKBEE: Just watched Moto3 and Moto2 from Texas. Fantastic! This is racing! Can't wait for MotoGP Come on F1...PULL YOUR SOCKS UP!
Absolutely, the last GP took the heat of a little but we all know the result of this years WCC and probably WDC. I was chatting to my sister who is a mad F1 fan but due to a package change they lost F1, she was just saying it's not worth the extra £16 a month to watch as it's 'boring'.

F1 » Red Bull boss reissues quit threat

I find it curious that some people think Red Bull (the team) leaving F1 is no big deal. The sport will go on for sure but it does damage it's image (although Bernie doesn't need much help on that score these days). Also the team employs a lot of talented people F1 can't afford to lose any more teams, it's not like any manufacturer is rushing in.

F1 » Hamilton sweeps Chinese GP free practice

107SS2009: What does people on here that follow F1 watch, is it just the lap time numbers on the screen? Is that their way of following F1 racing? The FERRARI’S are as quick in China as they were in Malaysia. Both FERRARI and Mercedes split their tyre strategies on their race simulations, Lulu/Vettel on soft’s and Nico/Kimi on mediums. Lulu’s tyres went-off faster than Vettel’s, the same “key” thing as in Malaysia. Lulu managed 11 flying laps before his times dropped-off, while Vettel managed 15 before his times dropped-off.
Good comment. it's the lulu effect, some newer viewers watch just for watching their guy go fastest and gloat when he's fastest or claim they are been attacked if someone posts (in their mind) a negative comment etc etc It's tiresome.
