MotoGP » Pedrosa snubs Simoncelli handshake

Lets be honest here unless HRC have changed their minds Dani knows that Simoncelli is going to take his job mext year and having missed several races because he "re-injured" himself during training will do little to convince HRC to change their plans. Remember that Simoncelli like Stoner is employed directly by HRC where Dani & Dovi are employed by Repsoll Honda. I really do like Dani he can give some really enjoyable racing but I can not remember a time that he has not been riding injured in some way, as Julian Ryder keeps saying "The boy does not bounce he breaks"

MotoGP » Pedrosa casts doubt on Assen return

Honda are famed for having a policy of replacing riders after a time if they do not deliver titles. Unfortunately for Dani the rumours were already moving that Simoncelli ( Who is afterall already employed directly by HRC and placed in Gresini on full factory equipment ) would Replace Dani in Repsol next year and the longer Dani is away the stronger the chance of that happening will become. I hope Dani makes a full, speedy recovery because on the few occasions in his MGP career he has raced injury free he has provided us with good quality racing. Have to wonder how he will cope with the 1000's though

WSBK » Haslam released from Suzuki contract

Suzuki are in trouble as far as racing is concerned It was confirmed yesterday in an interview on GPone.com that Rizla have activated a performance clause in their contract and are pulling ALL sponsorship of Suzuki in all classes. This includes BSB WSBK and MGP. Also yesterday it was confirmed that Suzuki will not be renewing their support agreement with Relentless/TAS in BSB and when their contract ends with Crescent in BSB at the end of next season that will not be reniewed either

WSBK » Batta: How can I hold onto Haslam?

Earlier this year just after Suzuki withdrew factory support from Alstare Batta made a direct offer to them to run both the WSB and MGP teams. You have to admit that if Batta can do as well in WSB in a team with tight funding and no support that he would be able to get Suzuki back to the sharp end with full support uzuki have had a real brain fart if they choose not to take him up on what must be the only chance of some credible success

BSB » Pitt slams Motorpoint Yamaha treatment

@ matt The last official update that I saw was when GSE confirmed they were having to withdraw from 2010 because no substantive title sponsorship offer was in place in time to lodge an entry. There was a report the same day that 2 sponsors had approached with joint title offers but their combined offer was not sufficient value to make this possible. The good news however is that the newest interview I could find with Colin Wright it was stated that GSE would return at some point if they can get a title sponsor, budget and machinery in order to be a credible team but not if it was a shoestring that would not allow them to fight for wins
