MotoGP » Mugello: Ben Spies pulls out of Italian MotoGP

@ Donny Bobrosa Unlikely. Scott is contracted firmly to MarcVDS & it is well known that Marc van der Stratten almost sees Scott as the son he never had. MarcVDS are currently known to be in deep negotiations for either a Yamaha engine supply or a Honda satellite/production deal for next year and have already stated that if they can secure a deal they will be bringing Scott into MotoGP themselves next year.

MotoGP » Mugello: Ben Spies pulls out of Italian MotoGP

Shoulder injuries are horrible to heal, second only to broken hips, always have been & always will be. Hopper broke his hip & by the time he is even ready to start training again properly to regain fitness to ride it will have been at least a year since he last raced. Unfortunately withdrawing to concentrate on his health is the only sensible choice Spies could have made under the circumstances.

MotoGP » HAVE YOUR SAY: Name your Qatar MotoGP star

@ 99 Crystal ball Let me count them. 2 Factory "Repsol" Hondas, Pedrosa & Marquez 2 Factory Yamahas, Lorenzo & Rossi 2 Factory Ducatis, Dovizoso & Hayden 1 Factory HRC Honda running in LCR colours ( The same deal Marco had at Gresini, Bradl 2 Factory Pramac Ducati, Spies & Ianone Pramac are now officially the "junior" Ducati team being Pramac in name only as a convenience after Pramac went bankrupt last year. They now get full factory kit and not customer spec Yes you are right Rossi is riding 1 of only 4 factory bikes. On hang on.......
