Now is the time for a two-tier system. ie, F1 division one and division two with promotion and relegation.
Let the new teams enter division two with a 2-up 2-down scenario. It would be fascinating toward the back end of the season and add a new dimension to our sport.
The £40 million cap would apply to div. two and they could use some of the marvellous cicuits which are currently ignored.

Johnson, the Brawn struggles to get the tyres working efficiently at lower temperatures....as at Silverstone.

With temperatures forecast at only 15 degrees on Friday it's not looking good for the Brawn team

Maybe a two-tier system would work. The F1 premiership and division one. With promotion and relegation it would provide an added dimension. The Premier series under the current rules and division one under the budget cap. Additional circuits could also be used and most people would be happy to have an extra chance to see the top flight.

Ahh.openpipes.....you know so much about F1, i'm in awe of your opinion on Jenson. Schumacher is wrong then?.......Ross Brawn is wrong too, when they both rated Jenson so highly!! You will find in any sport that you will enjoy it much more without unfounded Bias against the opposition.

I don't think that we have seen the last of Ron Dennis. His extraordinary experience and knowledge of F1 will be sadly missed,as will his "Ronspeak". I will always fondly remember the Golden years of Prost,Senna Lauda etc. under Rons' stewardship. He achieved so very much and I respect him immensely. He has so much more to offer F1 than the small minded talentless minnows who brought him down.

Yes, a sad day.....but on the positive side 430 jobs saved by the Brawn take-over. I wish all of those who lost their jobs well and hope that they get their redundancy money and find another job quickly
