F1 » Vettel: 5/100th not enough against half a second

richard:
rob01: they may get the jump but ferrari has had to turn down the turbo on free load. with the long straight it could be a dog fight to the first corner.
ferrari only turn down the turbo slightly for quali. but on race set up, they dont have a problem, other that the broken oil seal on kimis car.seb had no problem.
I read they turn down turbo on free load which is used to start the race by 50 percent. I could be wrong but that is what I read.

F1 » No agreement reached on qualifying debacle

Banditfan:
Jimmy1: What "debacle"? I didn't see any debacle yesterday, just a pretty standard F1 qualifying. They fought basically until the last minute, as usually.
How can you fight to the end of a session when you are out in the first 7 minutes of the 1st session or first 6minutes of the 2nd etc.
Jimmy must have missed Q2 or doesn't follow F1 at all.

F1 » Hamilton survives penalty scare to keep pole

Taipan:
rob01: You forgot to add he made Trulli fly off the track under yellow. That Lewis is diabolical.
The on track events were nothing special or unusual, it was the bare faced lies after the event that were a bit different, as you well know.
Nothing special. The team didn't even know what Lewis should do about Jarno leaving the racing surface under a Yellow flag. He asked 5 times. And your well aware that Lewis told the truth when the reporter first got to lewis straight out of the car. It was only after the TEAM talked with him that Ryans name got dragged into it. For a good lie ask seb if he knows what multi 21 was? Probably still claims he knew nothing about it.

F1 » Bahrain Grand Prix - Race results

richard: not a bad race. considerable action through the field. i dont think it was right to penalise bottas. lulu was just as much to blame as he turned in. bottas had nowhere to go. a racing incident...no more. shame sebs engine blew as he is faster than kimi and i reckon he could really have given nico a run for his money. drivers of the day? grosjean and wehrlein. must admit, i was sceptical of haas, but they really are doing a good job.
bottas was a day late and a dollar short. driver of the day grosjean Go Haas.
