LDM has had a seat on the board of FI’S holding company since 2012, it is held in his personal capacity not via his previous role as boss of FERRARI, He was in line for share options of 0.25% of the total number of shares of F1 when F1 shares are floated . Just yesterday Marchonne came out saying that it is FERRARI the team that has these rights and not ad persona for LDM. Today there are conflicting reports in the British press about all this “FERRARI has been the first ever team to own a stake in F1” and “Ferrari could take a $25m stake in F1”.
It's been clairified. Ferrari owns them. Not Luca.

I have pulled over and set the brake. I will tie it in a knot today as I am wearing shorts. Wouldn't car to pit include the driver? as he is in the car and should be aware of all things ticking. I agree not telling him to take better lines or how to approach the start. But if the car starts acting up should he not have an indicator for the event? And why not tire or brake temps as he still has to cool or heat them up himself? The car shouldn't become a jack in the box for the driver. Or is that the hope for sake of increasing the show.

107SS2009: Rob, careful there, the teams with big steering wheel display (screen) who will message that screen with information from the pit wall will be in breach of the article which says that “telemetry can only be one way, CAR-TO-PIT”.
It will be CAR TO Driver now. The car like any other car can tell the steering wheel many things. Instead of the drivers waiting for the team, the car will tell the driver through indicators. Optimal shifting and gear change lights are common as you see them on the in car camera. The down side is that the driver will now have to pay attention more on his own. But I am sure if something needs addressing the team will accept the 5 second penalty. And on most tracks that would have little effect on the Mercs.
