F1 » Hamilton cost Rosberg win chance – Wolff

107SS2009: Toto Wolff as boss by over thirty percent shareholding in the Mercedes team should ascertain and retrieve the lost control of running his team (it was declared on here that “Lulu showed his team who is boss” in Hungry), He out to make sure in no uncertain way who runs the team and who gives the orders and by whom such orders should be obeyed.
Sunny, You pointed out to start the year that Merc had three talking heads. You pointed to the confusion that would cause. And now you are appalled about the broken team orders. Are you actually surprised? Lauda has even supported what happened. This would always be the result of 3 talking heads.

F1 » Hamilton: Usual rules didn’t apply

107SS2009: Rob, apart what is paid per point and what is paid per super licences in a recent interview as quoted by Frankfurter Aligemeine Zetsche criticised the income distribution paid by BE, he quoted FERRARI GETS 100M, RBR70M and Mercedes 12M, he also said that the sports is on the wrong track, “we need change, you have to question of whether it is worthwhile to continue to participate”.
We both want Bernie gone. The sooner the better.

F1 » Hamilton: Usual rules didn’t apply

kma55: These orders to let teammates through only make sense when the constructors championship is at stake, or one driver is not in contention for the drivers championship. Neither of these things are true in this situation, Mercedes are so far ahead of everyone else there really shouldn't be any orders given.
If I am not mistaken the teams are paid based on the number of points that they score. Lewis cost the team money by putting his needs above the team's.
the teams pay 5K per point earned. the champion pays 6K per point. He saved them money. Same goes for the drivers. They pay per point earned when getting super license to start each year.
