F1 » What we learned at the Australian Grand Prix

Maroc:
thisiscalin: Sorry, but i don't understand all this complaints about this year.Only a race is gone and tears of boredom pours dawn the net.Less entertaining, yes.Boring, hell no.I wasn't bored in 1988,2004,2011(to name a few)i'm not going to become now.Probably my eyes are less glued to the screen than they were in 2012(with seven different drivers winning first seven races),but hell i'm enjoying this sport and i always will.
The problem with the new rules on power output, which began last year, the advantage you start the season with will be the advantage you have throughout the season because the teams cannot interfere or develope their engines anymore and there lies the problem for all concerned. The result we seen yesterday is what you will see throughout the season, unless Mercedes have a breakdown, and even thats unlikely.
Not true. Ferrari has 2 additional PU upgrades planned for 2015

F1 » Ecclestone backs Red Bull's 'equalisation mechanism' call

richard:
RobbieD: How come Ecclestone never said anything when we had to put up with four years of Red Bull and the "finger" winning nearly all the races? None of the other teams threatened to quit just because they were not winning. Surely it is a case of " if I cannot win I won't play".
merc and macca were constantly moaning, and had red bull hampered at every turn. and the cars were far more equal then, even if the renault engine was the least powerful. and maybe the driver had some input too? dont forget, rbr were not getting 1-2 in the races.
As Sunny pointed out. They ran a car that skirted the rules the entire time.

F1 » Wolff to Horner: Get your head down…

Cheppy: I always believe Mercedes was received detail of technical regulation for new 1.6 ltr engine before officially released to other Engine suppliers or Mercedes had fed its own basic Engine map to FIA governing body via member of FIA technical regulation governing body. The rivals need to find out why Mercedes has so much advantage over engine development. Unusually Mercedes Engine didn’t have any problems at inauguration of new 1.6 Ltr Single Turbo Engine last year. 2014 Mercedes Engine was almost flawless and no big problem with Engine. I doubt Mercedes can not develop such as engine in short time which advantage over its rivals engines development without knowing detail in advance. I think FIA must relax restricting on Engine development.
They had 4 years plus developing.

F1 » Rosberg: Germany has to be part of F1 calendar

richard:
rob01: Born in Germany and stayed for two days as an infant. Hasn't lived there since. Yes he is German.
so? i must admit that i wasnt in germany at the time to see that he was only there for 2 days? how did you find out? doesnt affect his birthright as being classed as german. a person gets their nationality from three sources. mothers nationality, fathers nationality, and where born. nico has german as two of these, and finnish as one. so i reckon, on average he is german. now, i have three nationalities, so which one am i?
What are my 3 choices?

F1 » Vettel berates Rosberg over team-mate jibe

This just in. Nico has informed/invited Vettel to the Merc garage at the next race. And told him to bring his notebook. Vettel has been seen since he signed with Ferrari carrying a notebook. Makes him look cleaver I guess. My bet is that Ferrari tells him to stay out of the Merc garage. It would be a total embarrassment having the Red driver looking for help from another team. And for sure the Silver Arrows. Lets see if skittles replies.
