F1 » Rosberg 'can't say whether he is underestimated'

Taipan: Jonesy You should know by now that I am always the voice of reason, . For Nico to be rated in the top 5 he'd have to be regarded as better than Vettel, Alonso, Kimi, Button and Lulu and in the last 5 years he hasn't been. Anyone who argues with that is frankly a fool. Then take into account the likes of Verstappen, Hulkenberg, Massa, Kvyat, Grosjean, Perez, Sainz, Ricciardo who have all produced great results in lesser cars and are at least a match for Nico. So there you go, Nico is a lower half of the top 10 driver, people may disagree but they wont argue because it's a fact.
Kimi top 5? No way.

F1 » Wolff: Mercedes could loosen reins to enliven F1

Ferrari found a loophole for PU homologation or there would only be one PU spec allowed for ALL racing any engine. That should be reversed/changed so everyone gets the best version. As to the rules not allowing others to catch up. I find that is not correct. The rules for changing things based on reliability alone were so abused they finally had to request someone use a token. This year they were further relaxed you can almost actually produce an entire new PU. The problem with catching up is the parts and technology take months to produce not weeks. Lastly.. no one wants to work with a partner like Red Bull.

F1 » Worst of 2015: F1's struggle for power

goldenoldie:
107SS2009: The mandate given to Totd and Ecclestone by the WMSC not only Contrivance agreements between FIA and manufacturers but also the individual concord agreements signed between teams and FOM, and that is apart from the mandate given to Ecclestone being in total breach of the EU article 82 re the involvement of the commercial rights holders supposedly cannot have anything to do with the rules and regulations.
Sunny, therefore Ferrari is in the clear, because their objective is to race cars and they only introduced road going cars in order to finance their racing activities. As for Mercedes, that is a totally different story, because with them it is the other way round! Isn't it? :)
Your talking about Ferrari under Enzo. The business model for Ferrari is the same as Merc currently.

F1 » Mercedes taking Ferrari threat ‘very seriously’

Taipan: Ferrari don't have to match the Merc car just get close enough to it to give Vettel a chance, he's more than good enough to beat that pair without having equal machinery. Lulu and Rosberg will take points off each other but it's unlikely that Kimi will take points from Vettel. In addition if Merc are put under pressure for a change the fall outs and brain farts will only increase.

F1 » Mercedes taking Ferrari threat ‘very seriously’

richard:
ProfessorX: actually it's beyond any reasonable doubt that Kimi will take points of Vettel next year. Well, Torger did have a 'sizeable' stake in WIlliams, but not any more, any wonder why Susie isn't there any more? Why their cars are going slower this year?
kimi take points off seb? well, he would have to beat him to do that, and there is little chance of that. far more chance of nico taking points off lulu! as for wolff dropping his shares in williams....since when?
Dan the man took a bunch of points off the finger. It can be done.
