F1 » Wolff: Hamilton didn't ignore race engineer

107SS2009:
Salan: Tapian, your interpretation of the article seems odd, after all Toto says there was another radio transmission which was not aired and if that's the case who are we to say otherwise.
And somebody over here also said that Toto also said that his pictured smiling on TV was not real time TV picture. As long as such people as the Mercedes management know that they have some such simple minds following them they will keep up this sort of crap.
You're probably correct. I remember when massa was told over the radio he was world champion and then the camera went to the Ferrari pits. There was jumping around and then lewis crossed the finish line and then instantly nothing but crying. That had to be real time.

F1 » Wolff: Hamilton didn't ignore race engineer

Taipan: Rob, Blatant favouritism always seemed to be something that offended you greatly, particularly when it involved Ferrari (Alonso) or Red Bull (Vettel) seems like when it involves Mercedes (Lulu) it's absolutely fine by you, much like it was absolutely fine when it was McLaren (Lulu)
Your love of being right is clouding your judgement on the Lewis fetish.

F1 » Wolff: Hamilton didn't ignore race engineer

richard:
Fullofit: it used to be that whenever McLaren had something to say we could pretty much guarantee it was a lie, but Mercedes AMG have definitely taken over that role in the paddock.
currently merc are giving the impression of taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut. they have to win at all costs, and they will do everything in their power to win, moral or immoral. they really have brought the sport into disrepute
To start the year red Bull brought the house down with their bull crap with the fuel flow sensor. Have you heard anything further once they stopped drilling on the sensors?

F1 » Rosberg rubbishes deliberate mistake rumours

Polyccio: Why didn't Nico chase him down after his second 'mistake' then? His lap times were good, his tyres were okay and he didn't lose a massive amount of time by going down the slip road so why no real attempt to claw back the advantage gained by Lulu? Nico has pulled some shady strokes already in his dogged pursuit of his first WDC but he didn't put up much of a fight all weekend. It doesn't make a lot of sense to a sceptic like myself...
Lewis was faster all weekend on the harder tire by two to three tenths.

mrbrownstone2007: @107ss2009. Good point. I didn't think about that. I guess most of my point still stands though. It's frustrating to hear a radio message along the lines of 'look after your tires, attack at the end' when the racing further back was as good as it was. With Mercedes having such a dominant package this year it'd be great to see the wdc decided like that rather than 30 laps of them driving line astern followed by a little bit of racing at the end.
There are many radio contacts with the team to drivers ,only the ones the media wants to use are shared. The same goes for many on this site. They find what suits there views and then bang on it like it was the gospel.
