F1 » Bottas sees potential FRIC advantage

richard: rob. trust you to try and turn it into a red bull rant! the simple truth is that currently the system is classed as legal, wether merc, rbr, williams etc use it. and tell me, how do you know rbr have an advanced system? there has been no mention of this on any of the technical sites. still, maybe they inject co2 from their cans, into it, to make it work? but just like the dd which i (and you) considered not in the spirit of the rules, from the start, i said that i believed that fric was n effect an aero altering device. but when fia allowed it to be used, i accepted it. i doubt that it was charlies doing, cars have been scrutineered and passed as legal. but now that someone may have formally disputed it, it has to go to fia to decide if its legal or not. the dd, the coanda were also aero affecting and were allowed to last out their seasons. but this possible protest sounds more serious. there must be genuine doubt about its legality, and merc are runnin

oops. I have read that red bunk runs a FRIC. it makes good sense to me as they are excellent maintaining their aero through the corners. But as far as running scared i doubt it will help the wounded bulls any. But if they don't have a fric they would be first on my list of suspects for crying for help. They will try most anything and have.
