Sunny, I believe I read the proper article on pitpass.(merc cost to soar) WOW. For sure backs your Merc PR statement. Not coming to your rescue as you don't need it but the article is quite interesting. It counters the fact that Merc was yelling how great it was for both McL and themselves. Merc could be treading in water too deep.

No but they for sure will spend a ton more money doing it. The deal may still be squashed as board members were looking to get out of F1 and now they are going to spend 50percent more next year.

I was being sarcastic JET.. And I have no history lesson to give.. If fact for months some have wished Merc to severe ties with Merc over spy and lie gate. And now I am told that Merc is not always above board. Yes their 14 year history has been very very successful and I was hit hard by Merc/Brawn becoming the works team and McL the customer. But ruffling Sunny and Richard may not be the way to go as both know a considerable amount of history in the sport. I'm sure they will get back to you shortly.

Who said Haug was a liar? Or is this in reference to the fact that Brawn said he offered 12M after Button signed with McL. That was big news. Signing Nico is nice for Merc but not anything eye opening. It was mentioned weeks ago on this board and the only one excited was Hannah. And Hamilton has only raced for McL so I can not tell you how many races he would have won with Frank. Probably a few.

Just a media ploy.. they lost Button so they need something to bring light to the team. Signing Nico was good but nothing to write home about.
