F1 » Rosberg: Race craft going in right direction now…

Lewis openly admitted he could not get the car to work like he wanted all weekend. The setup he worked on ate the tires. He put in a good Q3 lap and lucked out. Nico for whatever reason loves the layout of the track. For the race the team went to a setup that was better on the tires and one that was not as quick for him. He congratulated Nico and said as much in the interview after the race. It was Nico's weekend so no big deal.

F1 » Hamilton blames problem with revs for pivotal poor start

richard: there was something else that was touched on yesterday, and i know that it has been mentioned here (well done sunny), but apparently merc have some way of raising the turbo pressure by using a control on the wastegate. this allows more power but as they use it in quali, they are not handicapped by the fuel regs. but whatever they are doing can also be translated into race situations too.
all teams doing the same thing at the start. dump waste gate. its best way to produce the max hp at the start. no back pressure. as to traction control the cars and drivers select clutch bite. all teams doing this a well.
