On the subject of pay drivers. When F1 headed down this road 5 years ago this was to be the outcome. Now that its a reality everyone is saying what a shame. There was an option given at that time using a two tier system. That was vetoed. The other option involved making F1 a spec series. The second tier then needed pay drivers since the promise for a cap and buying items off the shelf had been broken.

richard, yes luca may have told Alonso that he finally needed to test the car but Alonso picked the number of days. All that Vettel talk didn't set well with Fernando.

Almost every attempt by the FIA for the last three years has been aimed at stopping the Bulls. This year will be no different. The DRS and additional front wing test are just another attempt to bring them to the pack. I do agree that RedBull has been rewarded with suspect behavior. But thats been a part of F1 forever.

oldtimer, the fia has already delayed the introduction of the new engine formula. The current v8 has been run for 8 years. Even in a spec series you must move the target on occassion.

Richard, so you think they are just a drinks team? You and Lewis do agree on something. lol Regardless of how Vettel was nurtured, you are correct. He deserves everything he has won. And he is a very good driver.
