And maybe you forgot about it, but the 4strokes were louder and easier to hear going all around the tracks. The Ducati's and the Aprilia Cube were abnormal. I can still hear Capirossi spinning up the rear and the revs at a wet race in Assen in my dreams. The only thing that I miss from twostrokes is the smell. And I have been fortunate to hear the RC162 and an MV Agusta 350 6 going around a track. Twostrokes were always softer.

F1 is like going to a Rammstein concert in a closed arena like Paris Bercy. The sound is insane, if you wear earplugs it bypasses them trough your skull and you feel the vibration and energy trough your whole body. And that is what a Rammstein concert should be like. Even if it gets too much for you and you walk out of the arena into the lobby you still feel the energy of the sound. There is nothing more entertaining at a jet fighter show than low passes on the afterburner at very high speeds. Without protection it has the pontential to split your eardrums, but the energy is insane. That is what F1 has lost.

Sasha is a short name used for people named Alexander or Alexandra in many parts of Eastern Europe, including Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and parts of Canada. Just fyi, I am male and European. Also just talked to F1 loving co-workers. Some turned the tv off, all agree about the sound and most think that the racing looks boring. And IMHO F1 is indeed about technical challenges, but uncle Bernie also sells it as a show. To much technical stuff kills the show. If you want hybrid techniques you can use it at Le Mans. Ideal place for it because the people who follow LMP1 are mostly also interested in that aspect. But I know from trackside experience that hybrid diesel LMP1 cars sound boring. Fortunately there are many other cars there, so you get entertained as well.
