Let me see.... Mercedes aka Daimler, huge losses Toyota, huge losses Renault, losing money every day Ferrari, making a profit Honda, already lost out So, the companies that have three teams and supply the entire non-factory grid with engines are loosing huge sums of money. Have to cut costs where they can. Sooo, either Ferrari go, or all others go? And maybe people haven't noticed. 80% of the biggest advertisers in F1 are out of money and will pull out at the end of the contract. It seems only Ferrari is able to spend like crazy. So we have a two tier system anyway if all stays the same. Time for some realism in F1. Which is, if you go on like the last 10 years, it's RIP F1.

Maybe they all gamble on some rain right after the start. Another aspect is that they want to get rid of the soft tires as soon as possible. So start at the front, keep out of the first lap crashes, open a gap on the softs, pit after 7 or 8 laps and see what happens then.

If they want to lower the speed, the most simple solution is to remove one gear. Make it a five-speed instead of 6. That is what they should have done with the 990's anyway.

Pedrosa looked like he stood still, like he made a shift mistake. Repsol did not file a complaint, so it might actually have been the case. And I don't think that other riders should take into consideration that a competitor is injured. If an injured rider can't ride the bike up to speed or without mistakes he is a danger to himself and to others.
