MotoGP » Marquez, Pedrosa agreement 'almost impossible'

I see Marquez fanbois are in full effect here. That said, I am one as well ... BUT ... despite my love for MM, he has done this a lot this season. Almost rear-ending SEVERAL riders in SEVERAL different races at different times within the same race. In fact, Lorenzo probably let him pass because of that fear (ok it wasn't that - but it may have been a thought). Marquez is crazy talented, but that enthusiasm and "no fear" attitude should be curbed now while in his rookie season. This is bordering on Simoncelli levels, and we all know how that turned out. I don't want this young talent (future GOAT) ending his career early. A stiff penalty should be placed. At least a start from the back of the grid. It's not like he won't win the championship anyhow ...

MotoGP » Smith takes a hit in Catalunya

Definitely agree with the comments thus far. Yes, Bradley can out-ride ALL of us. But that doesn't mean he's good enough for GP, or, at the least deserving of a Tech3 bike. On the plus side, Yamaha's contract with Tech3 is up next year. Perhaps they'll ditch the crew and we'll see Bradley where he truly belongs (a CRT bike). Yes he's nice. Yes I enjoy his blogs. But BE OBJECTIVE folks. Those things along do not justify his having gotten such a good ride in GP. /end rant

MotoGP » Bridgestone: Lorenzo’s tyre not to blame

Jorge has been my fav since he started in the top class. But I think I'm objective. Was it setup? More than likely. Was it tire? Maybe just a little. Was there something else? Yes, definitely. Lorenzo is different. In some ways for the better but in others I fear for the worse. He is a tinge less aggressive during races. Complaining about the new point system and how Marquez should maybe have been given a point or two. In his "Ask Cal and Jorge" interview he didn't look comfortable at all. His body language was tense, holding onto his left side handle bar throughout the interview and fidgeting with his sweater's collar. Maybe less important, he has mentioned he is looking to find a girl and settle down. I think perhaps he is thinking of the Stoner route. Maybe he wants a third championship and wants to call it quits. Maybe he fears injury (moreso than usual) because he wants to limit the dangers on his trek to the championship. Not to mention above all the CLEAR PRESSU

MotoGP » Baptism of fire at Le Mans

Stoner - Spies was a many times AMA champion, a champion in WSBK in his rookie season ... and maybe just isn't going to mesh with the GP machines. His riding style may be better suited for WSBK. Bradl was Moto2 champion (and some might argue only because Marquez was injured at the end of the season). Bradley has only won 3 races. All in 125. Has been on the podium only 3 times in Moto2. Bradl won 5 races in Moto2. Podium 12 times. He finished consistently close to the aliens last year and some might argue he is having a rough start this year. This is what I mean about denial. Is Bradley a nice guy? I'm sure. But relative to the pool of other riders in Moto2 ... there were several other riders that were more deserving when you look strictly at the numbers. I'm a fan. I enjoy a good race. I want to see the best of the best. Those that deserve their ride. Earn their ride. Because ultimately it will mean a better/more exciting race for me, the spectator.

Don't understand the level of the denial of so many readers ... It is an English bias? Or ... Ginger? (kidding kidding). The reality is Bradley will not cut it in Tech3. Many of the realists knew this before he even came to GP (because of his poor record prior - yes ... POOR record). I don't know how in the heck he pulled off the Tech3 deal. Kudos to his management team. But I really wish he'd be on a CRT where he belongs (and if he performs as good as the older Espargaro, then give him a ride). Give Bradley's bike to Pol and it will be an AWESOME team.

MotoGP » Moto2: Scott Redding - Q&A

Love that Redding called out the joke that is Bradley Smith on a a Tech3 bike. Only the top level rides for a given class should get MotoGP rides. Redding is definitely up there. Far more than Bradley was ... Break the contract and give Bradley a CRT bike as a grievance package. Then at least it won't be so embarrassing when he's riding among other CRT riders.
