MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

It's ironic that in taunting a 2x MotoGP champion who is only behind Giacomo, Rossi, and Hailwood in most MotoGP wins, you all actually come off like little girls "hating", because you just can't stand the fact that Lorenzo is one of the greatest riders of all time, that he will still likely beat Rossi for the championship, and it just makes y'all want to cry ... waaaaaa Try being objective folks. They are ALL great riders. Maybe Lorenzo isn't the strongest in the wet, but he salvaged points, and seeing as HJC has caused issues for him before, it's not crazy to think it happened again (plus it happened to Spies with the same brand). That said, it's his fault for staying with HJC. See, that's what objective looks like.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

PunkySic: His visor looked absolutely fine when he pulled in. Fabio Quartararo lost all vision, he was riding around with his visor OPEN and still finished 4th, holding off Bastianini long enough to force the guy to bin it. Lorenzo got beaten, fair and square. Accept it like a man!
Yep. I seen that also and posted in another thread. Not only did it look fine, He sat down in the garage with it firmly closed, the camera switched to another team and when it went back he was still sitting with it shut. What would be the normal reaction to a fogged up visor when you reach your destination? Open it perhaps? His ego is far too fragile. That's where all the after race excuses stem from.
And yet the motogp announcers thought it looked fogged up as well, and it happened to Ben Spies, so ... I guess facts and informed opinions don't matter much to you eh

MotoGP » Lorenzo ‘never thought this would be possible’

Rossi has never qualified well, he's always been a "shark" "hunting down" riders on track. But since Lorenzo's arrival that strategy hasn't worked so well. Couple that will all the new school riders (Stoner, Pedrosa, Marquez, etc) who are in many ways simply faster than him - generally speaking. Lorenzo's year was looking good from the start, were it not for the issues with his cheap helmet he would've won in Qatar. Lorenzo mentally can crack. Qatar set him back a bit mentally & in the following races (he probably didn't like Argentina much either). But a Lorenzo who is on form, mentally/physically, with a bike & tires that works for him is deadly. He can win this year's championship IMO.

MotoGP » Lorenzo mocks ‘crisis’ after record pole

golfnut04: Lorenzo is a phenomenal rider and very gifted fast rider but suffers from a flawed personality that keeps him from being bigger than life itself , he will never reach Vales out of track reach.
That may be but ... some of us REAL race fans watch races and appreciate racers for their ability AS racers, not for their media savvy. Stoner wasn't much for the media, but, he is arguably one of the best racers of modern times.

MotoGP » Bradley Smith staying at Tech 3 Yamaha

First off, Bradley has a great personality, and understandably it is good to have a Brit ... That being said, this is quite upsetting and seriously an affront to the many other riders who not only deserve it, but let's be honest, DESERVED it. Smith should have never gotten that ride. Disagree all you like ... one need just look at his teammate, an actual champion who has won several (Moto2) races. Yeah, he qualified 4th, but he will either crash out or finish like he usually does, unimpressively.
