Haha, BCE is the best!

EDIT: Maybe you guys should read the article before you comment, he clearly states that it was unfortunate that Senna died, but that his death paradoxaly brought F1 to people who would normally never watch F1.

"Posted by Clive Randall (9 hours ago) .... A (40 mil developed) F1 will still be breathtaking for us average joes to watch. " I dont really care about the average joes. I dont care about overtaking. All i want to do is to watch the highest tech cars duking it out. I dont care if one team spends 4x the amount of money compared to another team. F1 has never been about finding the best driver, or close racing with overtaking. There havent been overtaking in F1 since they introduced wings back in 1968. Dont listen to these average joes that want to turn F1 into some spec series where the top teams subsidices the smaller teams

I think there's 0% chance that Ferrari will race in F1 if there's a budget cap. How do you tell 70-80% of your staff that they have been made redundant over the night, so that the have-nots would be able to compete in F1?

I just hope F1 never returns to Silverstone, what a horrible track! There's hardly an undulation there, silly airport track. I hope Donington gets their act together soon

Ric, I know its not like the good, old days when it was equal or bigger than f1 in prestige, but its not true that it has declined ever since. In the last few years there have been a resurgence with multiple car manufactorers like Audi, Porsche, Peugeot, Accura etc competing in the prototype classes. The level of technology is very high, they just arent spending as much as the guys in f1.

Posted by terry p - Unregistered (37 minutes ago) : So proving yourself in GP2 means VERY little indeed. Just look at Beumi and Piquet. Their GP2 performances contradict their F1 performances so far. ------ Dont be silly, Buemi have performed very well this season, I seriously doubt Senna would match him. Infact, i seriously doubt Senna could match any of the formula one drivers
