Don't worry about his arm. Haga will be back to form when the lights go out. He has to be the favorite for a double this weekend, too.

WTH?? Why in the world do people want to see a tire competition again? It's been proven more than once(via F1, WSBK, MotoGP) that it ultimately hurts the racing. You're either an idiot or unobjective if you're still clinging to the notion that a tire competition is good idea.

Spite makes me want to pick someone besides Camier... there are just TOO many Brits in the series already. BUT... logically, Camier is probably the best choice. It's all irrelavent, however, because in the end the choice will go to the guy who brings the most sponsership dough.

Haga would have ran away with the championship in 2009 if Spies wasn't there. The only real downside is that if you go back and look at the results and remove Spies, Xerox Ducati's would have doubled the first six rounds!! You have to wonder, would they have received a handicapp??

Good for Neil. I hope he has success. I'm not sure if that comment about him still holding some of the wsbk track records is accurate though. Spies, Haga, Biaggi, & Rea broke pretty much all the tracks records in 2009 and the pace was quicker than it has ever been in wsbk history.

I'm optimistic about Ben's testing results, but I also don't want to get carried away. One things for sure, though... I can't wait for next season to start!!

"but know what americans are like and it will be unbearable... mark my words! " I agree that there are some Americans on this board who act like complete donkeys... but beleive me on this because it's true, they don't represent Americans in general and are, in fact, a small--albiet LOUD--minority.

Can someone tell me why the race in Assen is always held on Saturday?

I'm impressed with Ben, too... he's probably going to squeeze everything out of that Tech 3 bike that can be next season, but he's still a second behind Jorge. Until he gets factory goods, he's just not going to be able to win. Such is MotoGP.

There seems to be conflicting stories regarding the M1 Spies was riding. Lin Jarvis has stated that his bike was VERY similar to the Tech 3 bikes, so I'm going to give the Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing the benefit of the doubt. We don't know if it was quicker than the Tech 3 bikes (maybe it was--maybe it wasn't--maybe Spies nailed the apex out of the final corner a few times), but I highly doubt it was factory spec.

Surprised that Simoncelli wasn't quicker... and Bautista has to be rethinking is decision to go with Suzuki.
