MotoGP » 800cc MotoGP exit date not yet certain

Yep, it's the electronics. They destroyed F1 as well. People always think of MotoGP as an unlimited technological series--but forget that less than 10 years ago we ran 500cc bikes!! Not very technological. The electronics are VERY recent additions and are NOT MotoGP tradition. Losing, or limiting, electronics shouldn't be looked at as hurting or hindering an pure prototype series... it's actually the opposite. It's protecting the MotoGP tradition.

MotoGP » Hopkins inks AMA Superbike deal

It doesn't surprise me much, openpipes... I think theres questions surrounding Hopkins abilities right now--mainly due to the injuries he's sustained and whether he's lost something because of them. He has a chance to redeem himself by dominating the AMA...which, if he's still a world caliber rider (or if his body is up to the task) he should be able to do.

MotoGP » McCoy secures shock MotoGP return

I'm not sure why "Paul" mentions RawDawg in the selected comment over there. I may not always agree with RawDawg, but his opinions in this thread are at least rooted in fact and legitimately debatable. Unlike countless other people who spit out unfounded negative comments without a second thought... so I'm not sure why RawDawg got singled out.
