Don't worry about his arm. Haga will be back to form when the lights go out. He has to be the favorite for a double this weekend, too.

Surprised that Simoncelli wasn't quicker... and Bautista has to be rethinking is decision to go with Suzuki.

You don't even have to go that far FZ1. Bayliss won that race on a 990. No way he wins on an 800.

I'm convinced that these guys who post things like "Ben Spies is the one..." are not Americans, but in fact, are Brits having a good time seeing their fellow country men getting worked up. Admit it... I really think this is the case. If you look at the poles from U.S. websites, only a VERY small percentage (7%) of people predict Spies will do anything spectatular in his rookie season. Yet, based on these boards you would think we're all deluded.

Spies received a lot of criticism last off season asking for too much money... but don't let this mislead anyone to think that Spies would go to the team with the most money. Mark my words, Spies will only sign somewhere he can be competitive. This rules out Suzuki, all Honda satellites, & Alice Ducati MotoGP--as well as--Aprilia wsbk. Spies will sign with Tech 3 IF his contract CLEARLY states his bike will be factory spec and receive full factory support. If he can't get that guarantee, he'll resign with Yamaha WSBK. So that's it folks... he'll be with Tech 3 or Yamaha WSBK next season.

I'm becoming a Haslam fan. Sure, Rea gave us the second best race of the season last week, but still, I find myself pulling for Haslam. I just can't help but like the guy.

Cut the kid (Camier) some slack... it's his first Superpole and he got a little caught off guard. He's a lot better than his starting position indicates. Go Ben!

The only thing that would SHOCK me this weekend, is if someone got to the front and rode away. I fully expect both races to be decided on the last lap--with multiple riders in contention. The guy that wins will have earned it. :)

r6racer -- I don't know if your comment was written intentionally to get a rise out of the AMA folks, but maybe you should look up just how "well" James did in AMA before you say something like that. I like him, but for whatever reason his time in AMA was NOT pretty. That being said, I do expect James to do well this weekend. :)

Team orders would blow... they aren't in the spirit of the sport, IMO. Let's hope that doesn't happen. As for Camier and Ellison, I expect them to be VERY competitive (especially Camier)... along with the regular WSBK Brits. It's going to be a good one. I also expect Sykes to show up and fight at the front all weekend.
