Don't worry about his arm. Haga will be back to form when the lights go out. He has to be the favorite for a double this weekend, too.

I like Blake Young a lot. He reminds me of a young John Hopkins and I expect him to do well in the future... ...but like RawDawg alluded, Young is "young" and inexperienced. Objectively, it's very likely this will be a difficult weekend (near the back) so I hope he gains valuable experience and not let it affect his psyche.

Well, Spies pole record had to end sometime. :) Way to go Smrz!! We knew you'd get pole sooner or later. Now keep it up there for the race!

"BTW I hate all you Europeans who can now get the races in HD on the Eurosport player. Any idea how to get it in the US?" Uh, it's been on Speed HD since Phillip Island, bro.

@ Andrew Long: I don't see Spies going to Tech 3 UNLESS he's promised factory equipment & support. Herve Poncheral has already made it clear that he wants Spies on one his bikes next season... so it's going to be up to Yamaha whether they want to commit to Ben while already supporting Rossi & Lorenzo.

Seven poles in seven tries and seven wins in 14 races?!? How can anyone say that's not at all surprising without sounding ridiculous?

Actually, Misano tends to favor Ducati's with podiums 26 times in 34 races. It's going to be very difficult for Spies to finish in front of Haga and Fabrizio on Sunday. I'd say a Haga double is good prediction. :)

I think the author of this article makes some excellent points. The fact that ANYONE would disagree just continues to prove to me how utterly absurd and out-of-touch with reality the whole nascar culture is to begin with.

I expect ALL the Brits to whip it out. This is the home round and it's 'open season'. Time to show up or shut up. Show the fans what you're made of. It's gonna be good.

I think what he's saying is that even though the bike is still being developed it's also still pretty good. They've got work to do, obviously, and as they hammer out issues the Aprilia should get better and better.
