Don't worry about his arm. Haga will be back to form when the lights go out. He has to be the favorite for a double this weekend, too.

As boring as GP has been since the rise of the 800's, it's still the HIGHEST LEVEL with the FASTEST bikes and BEST riders. Heck, I'll be the first to say it: I don't want Ben to go to MotoGP because I absolutely LOVE watching him in WSBK. But seriously, he has to go to MotoGP at some point or he'll never know just how good he is, right? I doubt someone as competitive as Ben could live with himself if he never tried. He can always come back to WSBK if it doesn't work out...

I'd be dissapointed if Spies went to Suzuki MotoGP... but I'd also understand it. GP is still the highest level, and how can you really know how good you are unless you compete at that level. He'd always regret it if he didn't at least give it a shot. I'd be dissapointed--mainly because I don't see Suzuki as being competitive enough and I LOVE watching Ben in WSBK... but I'd get it. Plus, Yamaha already has Lorenzo and Rossi in GP. Do they really need Spies, too? I would almost expect Yamaha to want Spies in WSBK to keep their top riders spread out between the two series. Stupid Suzuki SHOULD HAVE signed him last year and we wouldn't even be talking about this. We'll see what happens.

I don't think it's going to be a walk in the park for Spies this weekend. If he's going to double, he's going to have to work is @ss off for it... trust me.

Checa was a demon at this course last season--no one could touch him. I'd love to see him mix it up at the front again giving us another contender... should be fun.

Duh... Haga will be fighting for victory every race. The fact that is Ben's home track makes little difference.

I suspect he'll deliver similar results at Miller that Morais did at Kayalami. A top 10 is definitely possible. I consider Jamie to be one of the top AMA riders so I'm excited to see how he does. Let's hope he doesn't dissapoint!

The Ducati's are NOT cheating. They are great racing bikes that match the strengths of other makes in many areas, but their primary advantage over other bikes is the low end torque--giving the bike incredible acceleration and stability exiting corners. That's why tight courses like Valencia and Kayalami will favor the duc. The trade off--which balances the field out--is the top end. The Ducati will never be the quickest through the speed traps and will have difficulty using the draft of long straights to overtake, which gives them a disadvantage at tracks like Qatar and Miller.

Anyone who can make the ZX 10R competitive deserves a second chance. DW: I suspect Hacking will be at least as competitive at Miller as Morais was at Kayalami. But, like you mentioned, the ages of these two men puts Sheridan as the better "long term" solution.

I don't think Hacking has been confirmed for Miller yet. However, unless Kawasaki already decided on Morais for 2010 and are planning to groom him with additional track time, they would be foolish NOT to give the Miller weekend to Hacking. Jamie could deliver similar results at Miller that Morais had in Kyalami.

Please pray for Regis. This is potentially a career ending injury and he and his family need our prayers.
