Thre 'true brits' on here are probably historically related to those who sent the criminals to Australasia to wipe out the 'Abbos', was that before or after Britain got invaded by the vikings/Romans.
Im British and black, im not a LH fan, im an F1 fan. Get a grip folks!

USF1 will fail because of Peter Windsor. He's a bit like Flavio Briatore without the brains/balls/supermodels!

For 7mill he could get Raikkonen. . . .Probably less than Button is asking for! Then they may actually be in better shape.

If McLaren want to beat Ferrari to both titles, then they need to sign Raikkonen quickly. Failure in the constructors will see them become a Mercedes reserve team. The talk of money is a bit of a red herring because to pay him 5m for next season will just mean they have to negotiate again for 2011. The Hamilton/Alonso shenanigans wont happen because Kimi isnt that way inclined. If Ferrari give Alonso a decent car and he can break the Massa/Schumacher/Ferrari love in, McLaren will need tn send Anthony Hamilton to the grandstands and sign Kimi. Unless off course the Hamiltons are scared!

Mercedes have won the constructors title for the first time in ten years at the first attempt with Brawn, who had two drivers fighting for the title. If Kobayashi gets the seat, would he be a contender next year, I dont think so. Would Heidfeld be a contender, possibly, would Raikkonen be a contender, . . . obviously.

If Heidfeld ends up at McLaren it would be ideal for all parties. Heidfeld will always get more points than Kovalienen simply because of his experience. The biggest losers could be Ferrari because surely Alonso/Raikkonen will get more points than Alonso/Massa against Vettel/Webber and a possible Hamilton/Heidfeld.

All the 'purists' who wanted F1 to return to somekind of soapbox racing should be pretty happy. Yes Toyota have been in F1 for x amount of years and they were pretty unspectacular, but they did invest in F1. Another sad day for F1.

If you are a poor driver, Spa will catch you out, Fisi was a KERS button away from being its master. He at least managed to race others in what was easily the worst Ferrari, with frozen development, since the mid nineties. I still believe though that he could at some point partner Alonso at some point next season!.

Kimi won the 07 title by winning more races than anybody else. He then actually did everything he could to back Massa's championship push in 08, the problem was that Massa was no match for Lewis Hamilton. Ferrari heirachy decided that after the French GP last year, that Massa was to be the main contender, in two previouse championship campains the only contender Massa beat was Fisichella, and we all know Fisi was never really in the hunt, and that was where Kimi knew his time was coming to an end. Schumacher and co were often accused of arrogance, but it was usually after they had won everything, some at Ferrari now though are living of past glories, they may find themselves getting a kick up the rear when Team Alonso rolls into town. Ferrari should pay Kimi's wages next year and thank him for making sure they actually managed to beat Toyota, Williams et al, because that is how bad the F60 was!

If he went there under the old regime of Todt, Brawn, Byrne etc. Ferrari would have another winning dynasty. In any situation he is the one who would maximise the performance of his car more than any other driver. He wouldnt do a Kimi and accept being put on the wrong tyres in Malaysia, he wouldnt do a Lewis and put it in the tyre wall in Monza and he certainly wouldnt do a Felipe and have instructions on where to brake!
