l :-) l westy, bit defensive arent you, he had a good race performance against beaten 'only' by two guys who have been around the block, very succesfully, a few times . . . still thing Geoege might be onto something though :-)

Alonso, the master of managing his car, by the end of the race I'd forgotten that Felipe made a cameo of almost being in the same race during the opening stint. Nico Rosberg started fourth, went backwards and eventually stopped, results like today might leave him feeling like an 'outsider looking in' with his own team soon. As for Kimi, I just like how he has a sabbatical, comes back and just slips into the 'competitive group' with little or no fuss. Seb had a chance in the closing stages when Hamilton was approaching traffic, he just got a bit too hot under the collar when putting the lap on the backmarker.

from the teams perspective the level of performance was actually worse than at this stage last year, LH put together a decent lap though, not fastest in any single sector, just fast in all three. Nico is going to need to step up a bit I think.

with no safety cars in the first two races, it hasnt taken long for the field to be spread out, in Malaysia the gap from the front to p10 was 20 seconds by the end of lap 6 or 7

@richard, under braking, wouldnt any fluid in the system attempt to make its way to the front of the car? apparently marrusia have something that does roughly the same
