cant argue with that, banking good points before the european season starts will give them a platform, theyve already matched their points total from the flyaeay races last year, thee lessons from last will also remind them that it can change quickly too.

@bob, they could be saying things like 'this is the best Mercedes ever', 'the car is 200 percent better' etc. but to paraphrase Ross Brawn, that could be seen as arrogant and setting themselves up for a difficult time, I think they are taking the smart approach. I not sure about claims from LH that they are the second fastest team, but maybe they are better in race trim than they were last season, again, maybe McLaren's relative lack of pace is a contributing factor at the moment.
