@ richard, the view of events in canada were shared by martin brundle, brundle asked button and we got thr explanation of 'spray and mirrors'. brundles initial view in bahrain was that it was button who moved across on perez, his other pal davidson thought he was being 'cute' on the apex, even dc thought button angst had more to do with getting beaten by perez than any rough racing. the biggest most brutal battle of his mclaren career and he got beaten, not by an ex world champ, but by the teams (apparent) number two driver

the team saved jb from ignominy of ordering him to let perez pass, they allowed events to run there course, maybe to see what the outcome would be, the outcome was that perez won on this occasion

two races fernado has finished ahead of vettel and outscored seb by sixteen points, vettel finishes ahead of alonso once and gains twenty one points, alonso fails to finish once and vettel takes (litteraly) the full 25 points. mark wenbber had s stinker in bahrain and still finished ahead of both ferraris. good thing for the italian team to get this catastrophic weekend out of the way early in the season rather than have it on the final leg. they cant really afford ti have another weekend as bad as this one.

bahrain was the first time i can recall this year that perez has actually had the chance to race his team mate, and i think jb was understandably upset because when the gloves came off, he got beat up by his team mate despite using a few 'tricks of the trade'
