RECOMMENDED COMMENT

What I find very amusing is that a lot of people keep voting for Valentino. I think they misunderstood the poll.. It's not 'Who is your fav. rider'
How can you be impressed with someone who is doing the same thing as he has been doing for the past decade?
Are these people the same people who are impressed by the baker, because he still makes bread?
Haha

Hayden 'happy' with test performance

I hope Nicky will improve even more... And I'm hoping for a great coming season. Good to see he's confident again... (off-topic) And...ehmmm.... Steel Panther... What's your problem dude? First you attack the hate spewers here... and next you turn yourself into one.... Why? And for your information: the Chinese own about 30% of US economy.. So who controls the US? Think about that!

Melandri targets 2010 podium threat.

Branco wrote: "Absolutely no chance of a podium unless someone crashes. Marco is a waste of good tyres. Watching Spies and Sic repeatedly flog him next year will be great fun! Cant wait
" Are you always this positive? There's only one thing I agree on with you. Since Spies is def a podium-contender too. It IS gonna be great fun to watch MM and Spies have a battle. They are both true racers and Marco does not qualify as well. But he is def not a waste of anything. He will be a hard man to beat coming season... Simoncelli I am not sure about yet... He might have to learn to keep himself under control for another year or so...

Melandri 'angry' at 'stupid' problem, already focussed on 2010

@RaptorRebel Could it be that you're missing the point? 'Marco is useless at everything else'??? Are you serious?

Yamaha: Signing Rossi best thing we ever did
1 agrees.
Absolutely right grantrd! It would be interesting to see Vale on a Duc for a try. But then again, he is not getting any younger, so even his determination will start to fade... Just like anybody else's... Vale is the greatest rider ever... sofar! records are there to be broken.

Battle for 7th is just unbelievable... haha I cannot recall any year in which so many riders are so close in points so close to the end of the season. Exciting! And I keep my point of view that Honda messed up back in 2006 NOT to grant Melandri a fair ride on a factory bike... Sorry to say, but thats the way I see it.

Melandri, Hayate break 2008 Kawasaki total.

I do however would like to comment on the peepz onhere who say that Marco is a quitter. Maybe you're right about him when you are talking about the Ducati fiasco.. It's true that he had a major mental set-back that season. You do have to remember that he is Italian, was doing pretty well until his switch to Ducati and that had always been a dream of his. Any of us would have our selfesteem drop to the floor in that situation. Especially when everyone around you is telling you that its all your fault. Marco is no quitter. He has ended up on the podium with pretty severe injuries. Ducati was just not the right team at that moment in time for him. greetz

I know there are a lot of Marco-doubters out there... But Im sure that if Gresini will keep their level of tech for next season and supply Melandri with the same bike as they gave Elias and deAngelis this season... he will be a regular top 5 visitor. Might even be able to win a race next year... Go Marco! Some of us still believe!
