Everybody makes mistakes!It's not Lewis's first mistake and won't be his last.I'm sure a lot of drivers will make more mistakes in the race and I'm pretty sure Hamilton won't be one of them. However I am, admittedly, quite annoyed with Hamilton (not that it will make a difference,lol!), this race was a real chance for him to proove to all his critics, he is a great driver and he blew it. There won't be another track this season that relies on the driver more than the car this much. But just to make it clear I'm still 100% behind Hamilton and hope that his risky strategy pays dividends. Of course he can still do something truly special! GO LEWIS!

To a range of posters on this thread, 1) I don't care if posters on this site think I'm thick, really doesn't bother me! 2) I don't recall saying I think a Toyota will win, the furthest I went was to say that if they want to win the WDC this year they NEED to win Barcelona! 3) I am a very happy, positive and optimistic person so I am HOPING Hamilton does well. 4) For the millionth time (and probs not the last), I am not going to change the driver who I support, I couldn't if I wanted to! I think that's everything so GO LEWIS HAMILTON!!!

Quagmire- Well, it appears to me, that even Heikki disagrees with you, surely if he felt any of what you've been saying then he'd have voiced it by now, or have left McLaren last year. Your take. Oh, and is there ANY evidence at all to show that Kovailinen is a better driver than Hamilton?

Quagmire- So, basically what you're saying is that McLaren delibrately made Heikki's car have technical failures? Genius! You think that they'd rather have drivers 1st and 7th in the WDC and no CC, than come 1st and 2nd and get the CC. Promise me you won't start an F1 team!!! It seems that you have a pure hatred of Lewis Hamilton, I think I'll leave it that!!! Oh, actually tell me one thing, who had the gearbox issue in Australia qualy meaning that they couldn't get out of Q1?

Quagmire-If you read Rich ard's post, you'll realise that he was making a joke about you typing stewarts (as in Jackie) rather than stewards. I still can't believe some of the posters on this site telling him to shut up and drive, EVERY driver does this interview, do they all need to shut up and drive??? I for one love hearing their thoughts on what is going on, would be very boring if we never heard what they have to say! To the topic, I'm very happy to see Hamilton really enjoying being in F1 again, he'll be far more optimistic about the weekend so will believe in himself more and push harder leading to an exciting drive and (hopefully) a great race result. GO LEWIS HAMILTON!

WOW! The best Friday practice performance I've ever seen, did you see Hamilton hanging the back of that car in the last corner and still getting the fastest time (at the point). Loads of posters wonder why I am such a huge supporter of Lewis, today is EXACTLY why, entertainment!!! Come on LEWIS HAMILTON!!!

Andrew 1) Why did Hamilton have to be brought into this, the article had nothing to do with him! 2) Have you ever watched a race which Hamilton won, Monaco when he leaped out of his car, ran to his team (you can not say he was moaning then), while Massa and Kubica stood calmly chatting. Or Silverstone, or China, or Fuji 07, or any other wins you can think of.
