Andrew- Just saw that same ad! But yea, you're right, Brawn's success was a lot down to the genius who is Ross Brawn-USF1 won't have anyone like that but still, wierder things have happened...I'm counting on Buemi in the no.22 car to be WDC next season!!!

Lol, just saw this conversation, really made me laugh I think cardinal has the key though- Hamilton and Davidson 100% as far as supporting the brits is concerned, never really warmed to Button (don't dislike him at all just not a fav) and of course Rob is completly right cannot resist the old smilies And I haven't been posting much lately purely through lack of time Richard! haha

Andrew- Yea completly, they've promised so much but I think the majority would guess that they're just not going to deliever, then again who'd have thought that Honda could've turned into what they did?! I just hope 2 things, 1 that they turn up in March and 2 that they don't choose 2 American drivers purely coz they're American...oh wait they've already done that

Good good, Nico deserves a car better than the Williams he has been driving for the last few seasons and I really hope that mercedes can give him that car. He will win a race next season!!!

yank- Very good!!! In theory USF1 should be the best, after all they've had the most time, but I think it could be Manor who are looking quite strong with Timo already signed and the all but confirmed Virgin backing. Even if none of the new teams are very good there should be good fighting between them and Toro Rosso, I'm hoping anyway

I can understand why they're doing this and why they're annoyed that Button signed for McLaren while still technically in a contract with Brawn, he has just won the championships with them and naturally they want to do all the PR stuff but who's going to look at him promoting Mercedes now that he's signed with McLaren. They must have lost potential money from it?

Racy- No, I rate him highly because I think he's bloody quick and as soon as he's given a decent car will be winning, the fact that he's fit is a bonus. I do genuinly believe that if mercedes can give him a car capable of winning races, he will win races, and I can't wait! The amount of time spent in F1 is irrelevent, if a driver has never had a car capable of anything above midpack there is only so far he can drag it up. Like I said Nakajima was still on nil points at the end of this season, Rosberg 34.5, surely that says something? And you mean Button, WDC, Button? Oh, and why am I lonely?

Andrew- After all this time I would have thought that you'd have known why Lewis is no.1 in my eyes, it's because I think he IS one of the best drivers not because I WANT him to be. Therefore what you say about when RD returns etc, is nonsense-I wouldn't support Hamilton if I thought he needed to be helped to do anything great. So there!!! haha

I'm someone who rates Rosberg very highly, in his 3 years in F1 he has never been in a position where he had the best car yet has had some brilliant races, I would also argue that he has won a race-Singapore 08. You only need to look at Nakajima's comparitive results to see what an amazing job he's been doing. so, yea, in my opinion he is a true catch for mercedes. Oh, and he is HOT
