MotoGP » Sepang MotoGP test times - Thursday 5pm

On the subject of the CRT bikes, and looking at Edwards fastest time, the problm with the guys at the bottom of the timesheets is lack of ability. If these guys are gointo be so slow, there needs to be not only a tight qualifying criteria but their past performances should be studied prior to entry acceptance - forget whether they/the team have the dosh! On some tracks,Jordi Torres could finish a race 5 minutes after CS!

MotoGP » Rossi and Ducati: A season in stats

I think we should all stop knocking the 2 riders concerned here. I'm a Casey fan, but there's no doubt in my mind that Vale is the GOAT. He is however in a position age-wise where he may think twice about trying to overide an uncooperative bike. Nicky seems always to be on the ragged edge and it all points to the bike being 'incorrect'. Are we seeing perhaps a lack of resources at Duc - are they still the richest team in the paddock or has Phil Morris cleared off with his tobacco dollars? There's bar code on the bike/leathers these days.

090909 I assume that English is not your mother tongue - at least I hope not... Anyway there's a grain of truth in what I think you said, I've always thought that the Duc is too long. That's not an engineer's view just an armchair punters view. If you watch both VR and NH turn the thing in, it often either goes down low side or tries to stand up and runs on.

MotoGP » A MotoGP chapter closes for Suzuki

Just a little hypothesis here... IF the bikes that Honda/Yamaha/Suzuki rolled out were proddy engines in the current prototype chassis and we didn't KNOW..AND the racing was brilliant, would we give a stuff whether it was prototype or proddy??? My guess is NO. We all want prototypes because they're prototypes but does it really matter. The breed would be improved without zillion dollar motors??? Don't shout, but would we really care if we got good close racing...as opposed to none? That could happen.
