WSBK » Edwards, Capirossi plotting Superbike move?

@JukkaX, I doubt Yammi's budget is larger then Honda/HRC. Honda is supplying 4 factory spec bikes and 2 sat bikes. Yammi has 2 factory bikes and 2 sat bikes. HRC is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at winning the last 800cc championship. The pay structure is also messed up, HRC pays Stoner, while Honda pays Pedrosa, Dovi. Yammi pays Lorenzo, Spies, and Edwards. Tech 3 and Dorna pay for Crutchlow. I think after this year when they drop Dovi from the factory team they should save some cash, although they still want to run 4 factory bikes, just not 3 out of the Repsol/Honda garage. The only reason Dovi is @ the factory is cause his contract stipulate that if he finished 4th or higher in the championship he would get a factory ride. He had to fight tooth and nail for that one.

MotoGP » Edwards donates test to Bridgestone, Yamaha

Am I the only one who thinks he should go to Suzuki? I understand that they have Alvaro and Hopkins for 2012, most likely, but his talents on development would be helpful. As for WSBK, I really want to see him race, but he has nothing to really prove in WSBK. The thought of him riding a BMW scares me, it scares me so much I would rather him go to Suzuki. At least I got to see him race once in GP before he left. I can die a happy man now. lulz

MotoGP » Aspar commits to Japanese GP entry

I think its silly personally. They are going for about 4-5 days @ most? Get some iodine pills and quit complaining. Its not like they have to spend months in the place, and it shows solidarity and support for the Japanese people who need it right now. The bad thing is that place IS dangerous if you have to live there. Rice in Japan is turning up radioactive, and the environment is a disaster.

WSBK » Edwards, Capirossi plotting Superbike move?

@ Robin, the 1000RR, or Fireblade as known in Europe hasn't been competitive for a while now. While I love Ruben, I don't think he is the right guy to develop the bike, and as for Mr. Rea, he seems to be struggling in an un characteristic manner. Honda is reducing MotoGP by 30% (HRC Budget), and it might seem that they are having trouble supporting the TK Honda Team. Its a shame to say the least. Hopefully next year the tables will turn but it looks like a long shot at best.
