WSBK » Edwards, Capirossi plotting Superbike move?

@jake, Who cares if its young or old. If the racing remains good and close then this trend is okay by me. Considering a 38 year old is putting the boots to the entire WSBK class, and the current champ is north of 35, the young talent seems to be doing jack. Yay, Laverty won a race or 2, whoopie. Top 3 riders are currently 29 or older. I guess you would be right tho. If we got rid of the old fogies in WSBK then the young guns would have a chance ...

MotoGP » Melandri: 2010 is my last chance

One thing I don't understand from commenters on this site. They make statements like "He isn't chasing Rossi down", or "The talent pool is so deep", or "We need to get rid of dead wood". Hasn't any realized that if you arn't on a factory bike you arn't competing for wins plain and simple, and that doesn't even include Suzuki. The only people chasing Rossi down is Lorenzo, and maybe Stoner, IF he keeps the bike upright. The way people talk, its like the grid is full of rookies nipping at Rossi's heals, and that isnt the case. It never has been the case. Every Race has been 4 Factory bikes first, and then comes Tech 3. If you arn't an Alien or its not your home track u wont win.

MotoGP » Dovizioso: Motegi delay could play in our favour

As a guy who has always bled Honda Winning Red, I am saddened by the fact that they are out of touch already this year. IMHO pedrobot and his master are @ fault. I am an optimist, but I am also a realist, and I have seen nothing from Pedrosa, and to a lesser degree Dovi that will change that fact. If anyone does it, it will be Dovi to the rescue. My how the mighty have fallen. Pedrosa should do the honorable thing and commit Seppuku for his Japanese masters so they can move on and look to the future.

WSBK » Toseland savours first podium since Italy ‘07

As a JT hater, (I am not really a hater but this guy has been sucking it up and I love to point it out), I would like to say well done! First podium in what 3 years? Good on ya. Congrats. I usually slag him, but he earned that podium fair and square. I watched the whole race thinking, "Damn, I'm ACTUALLY going to have to give JT the kudos he deserves". Keep up the good work JT, I will be watching!
