Kubica: F1 would forget Ferrari very quickly
Your anti-Ferrari bias is obvious. Also opbvious is that if you can't argue against a point made, you resort to name calling and immediately lose the debate. Disagree if you like, but please argue the topic

Kubica: F1 would forget Ferrari very quickly
4 agree.
3 disagree.
Rawdawg even when Ferrari was doing poorly it still had a loyal following. Many still followed the team and celebrated the podium or occasional winning finish. During the Schumacher era F1 marketing grew tremendously, you might say all the drivers owe a portion of their considerable salaries to the team and its popularity. Scuderia Ferrari has a cachet that no other team is even close to matching.

Chad Reed to race AMA Motocross.
I commend Reed for racing outdoors. They are more a of a grind, and more physical than SX. Yes, riders get hurt racing SX, but the speeds on MX is greater and the danger of injury is more as well. IMO Reed wants to show he is a great all-around rider, not just an SX specialist.

Hacking joins PBM Kawasaki for Miller.
1 agrees.
1 disagrees.
In the points but not in the top 5. He has a new team and tires to get used to as detriments, knowing Miller well as an advantage. He appears disgusted to be racing in the DMG/AMA series. Don't be surprised to see him make the jump to WSBK for 2010 if Miller goes well.

Rossi linked with Ferrari following F1 dispute.
First the Yamaha contract would not be a huge deal to overcome. Rossi retires from MotoGP after 2009, the Yamaha contract no doubt prevents him from racing motorcycles only. Second Rossi has shown decent speed in his few days of testing the Ferrari F1 car. And Ferrari would have a strong hand in the regulations of the new series, so their car would be competiitve. Third, many feel Rossi is the GOAT now, he has nother left to prove on two wheels. With that said, I doubt the new series will happen and the likelihood of Rossi joining it are almost nil. But the obstacles people have mentioned about him leaving are not insurmaountable.

'Amazing' second for Melandri and Hayate.
It really is too bad that Kawasaki pulled the plug on the team. It would have been good to see both Hopkins and Melandri riding for their GP lives. I doubt John could have matched the results Melandri has enjoyed so far this year. Top 8 in points for Melandri should guarantee him a good ride next year. Maybe the third factory Honda that Toni Elias is mucking around on right now.
